They must have run out of time. No real resolutions. Didn’t find the money or the crooked lawyer. Didn’t get to hear Homer’s happiness or what happened to the men arrested at his he end. Worst one I have listened to.

Hard to have sympathy for people providing a marketplace for the senseless torture and killing of animals just for their vanity and/or greed. Its incredible how corrupt these so-called medical professionals were (and continue to be) hustling cigarettes and tobacco to America. This includes these actors protraying themselves in roles as defenders of the welfare of the American public and so-called American values.

Did Brian Donlevy cough in the scene when Holcombe tells Isabel that she will die soon? Sounds like it.

This was superb. Really unusually good acting by all cast members. Great blending of sound effects with actors! Good script and fine ending. Most of these old radio mysteries are pretty cornet by today’s standards but this one is a real exception.

Another terrific episode highlighting the value of swift justice. I love it when Mister Dillon arrests Blane (24:36) and warns him that if he makes one move, he'll cut him in half with his shotgun. What would today's weak-kneed police administrators think of law enforcement using such language???? 😂😂😂😂😂

I! Love! This! Episode! I had a bunch of the radio spirits suspense cassettes as a child, but this was not in any of them, but I don’t know why. I only heard it since KZbin became a thing, and it is just unbelievable. Jim and Marian, were incredible here.

Times have definitely changed. When the episode begins, it's May 17th. At the end of the show the crooks are arrested and tried in court by August 14th. Today, the case wouldn't even come to court for at least a year. The crooks in this show had been convicted and already in state prison in less than a month.

I do appreciate that 90% the conflict in this one is that someone is ugly and for that he must DIE What are the writers thinking?😂

All OTR is awesome! My children are 38 and 31, grew up on OTR and are passing it on to their children ( not as appreciative as we would like), and they each have a favorite episode or show. Thanks for the UpL.
