Love this project, it would be perfect for a mini bottle of wine or hand cream. I'm hoping to have sale table at a local craft fair before Christmas so I might make some of these boxes.

@@michelecoffey9036 I’m so pleased that you like them. Good luck with the craft fair. And yes, hand cream and mini bottles of wine would be great. You could also keep the top of the box in tact and make a lid if you wanted to. Have fun with it.

Lovely card, would be suitable for many occasions. I completely forget to make shaped cards but I have quite a few sets of nesting Dies. I hope there was more improvement when you visited Graham.

@@michelecoffey9036 thank you Michele. Yes, making shaped cards is fun and a bit different. Graham is fine all the time he is on the drip, but a few days off and his condition starts to decline. I’m not sure what or if there is a solution to this. I hope to know more when I visit tomorrow.

I have one of those. The plates warp really quickly. Make sure you fold the sandwich inside out every few cuts.

I absolutely love my Gemini electric, But as for a mini Dawn, I have a sapphire mini manual and omg I couldn’t be without it. One broke a few years ago and I managed to get one on eBay! Those little manuals are absolutely worth their weight in gold. Mine stays on my desk, although it’s buried atm LOL it’s very surprising how many times I’ve grabbed the mini rather than a big machine. Especially for sentiments or small flower dies. Thank you for the idea of cutting an embossing folder down. I have a few I would like to try this with. Thank you for the top tips! I die cut the body then stamp the features. I put a piece of scrap card sprayed with repositionable adhesive in my stamping platform held by the magnets. I stick the body die cut to that then it’s easy to get the stamp in the right place

Hi Dawn how strange! I ordered the same stamping platform as yours at the weekend and it arrived yesterday from Craftstash. When on Monday I saw an old video that you had already reviewed it, I realised that it looks really easy to use. Not done much stamping during all my card making years as I always seem to make a mess so hopefully not any more! Thanks for sharing and hope Graham improves very soon IRENA xx

@@IrenaJacquelin thank you Irena. I’m so glad that you like it. That stamping platform is brilliant as it has 4 magnets where most just have two. Just make sure you are working on a flat worktop and if you are using a new stamp for the first time, wipe it over with your fingers or an eraser, to remove the manufacturers coating. You only need to do this once. Also make sure that you hold the stamp down on the card for a few seconds to allow the ink to transfer. I hope these tips help you to improve your stamping and get better results. 🧡
