Stitch is amazing! I would definitely suggest using two ink colors in any deck, most inks are very good at one thing, and can enhance another ink color depending on your plays style. One of the more popular decks (not pre-constructed) is SteelSong, which combines Amber and Steel for instance, but almost all combinations of inks are out there in the competitive scene. A good starting deck featuring Elsa could be the Amethyst/Ruby starter deck that was released in Shimmering Skies. It features a number of Frozen cards as well as a Wreck it Ralph group of cards. More importantly it's Ruby/Amethyst which has been the most popular ink-combination since the release of the very first set. That makes it easier to find online information on how to upgrade from the starter to a more competitive deck. That being said, and having played with it last weekend as well, the Gateway is probably my favorite product right now for learning and teaching Lorcana. It comes with 2 smaller pre-constructed decks (one featuring Stitch, one featuring Elsa) and as you play along you get to add more cards to those decks, turning them into full decks by the end. It's amazing value for money as well.

@@TheCoinPusher Thanks for the info i'll try to find info on that steelsong deck and see if the comic store near my house has the shimmering skies decks along with the gateway set and may pick up deep trouble as well this week it looked fun from you're video of it.

the unscanned commons I give away at events I go to (like weekly casual play meetups), mostly to people interested in or new to the game. I haven't given away digital rights yet to the scanned cards, but probably will in the future (I don't need 15x the same common right obviously lol). Haven't figured out how to yet, to be honest.

I bring the physical cards with me to the stores I play at, if new players are there, or interested players of other games, I offer them some cards for free (commons) and often if I play against people using non-foil heroes I ask them if they would like a foil version of it for free. Giving cards away through mail, especially internationally, gets expensive fast sadly. Of course if someone was willing to reimburse the shipping that would work too.

@@SerenityCommunityGroup Try to set up an account on altered.gg asap and scan all the cards you have. This game is very much about the digital rights, especially if you intend to play it competitively. Hope nobody "stole" your cards!

@@SerenityCommunityGroup I wouldn't call them ultra rare, cards with an R on them are the same rarity as cards with an F on them. The F just means the common and R version of that card are in another faction. You can check alteredtcg.blog/rarities/ for a bit more info on the rarities.

@@pietrorasputin52 did you use the included deck? I see a lot of people playing it "harder" than it is on easy mode. It's definitely doable even with the precon decks (I had a harder time with the Mulan deck than the Broom deck).

One thing to keep in mind, Ursula doesn't attack and "all" you need to do to win, is get to 20 lore. I've seen people worry way too much about stopping Ursula where they would have won if they had just quested a couple times more. Obviously you are impacted by her "luck of the draw" at points too. To me it's still the best product in the Lorcana line so far.

@@TheCoinPusher I tried to outpace her on lore, but when she drops a 1-2 minions every turn - and most of them have some hurtful come into play effect and are big - combined with getting damage and board clear, you don't stand a chance. Most recent attempt, she had 21 lore and I had 4 by turn 4.

@@pietrorasputin52 wow that does sound really bad. It almost sounds like you either have very bad luck in your draws (and hers) or there is a rule you're interpreting differently from how I did it. Wish I could help you figure it out, I assure you she is beatable on easy with one of the precon decks (as seen in this video), but I can fully imagine getting ticked off when you try multiple times and fail to beat her each time.

@@bombjelly5795 those are locations, they are horizontal to make them stand out as locations AND to show them as always exerted (meaning they can be challenged by your opponent)

@@bombjelly5795 welcome to Lorcana! Locations were added in set 3 (Into the Inklands) but are still one of the less numerous card types out there. Some of them are really good though.

@@TheCoinPusher thanks for the welcoming info. Illumineers quest is what got me into lorcana. I love solo/co op games . I hope they make more “boss battles” like the Ursela one .

That's totally understandable. I got out of Pokemon to make space for Lorcana (and now Altered too). Lorcana is a fun one to have been with from the start, I couldn't imagine getting into any more now though.

@@TheCoinPusher personally like MTG and Yugioh more but yeah Physical TCG can be expensive (that’s why i like Tabletop Simulator on steam)

@@deogiblue640 I like the opening of the packs almost as much as playing (sometimes more like with Pokemon). Definitely not a cheap hobby, that's for sure!
