I would need to grab the rules to confirm, but I don't think she has a starting/opening hand besides the cards she draws?

I checked it in the rules and confirmed it, no opening hand for Ursula. She starts out with the trident and draws/reveals on her first turn, which can already lead to painful situations, but she doesn't start with more than just that trident.

it has been a while since I played this, but I'm pretty sure Ursula only cares about lore, so they always quest. If a character would have reckless they can't quest, but they have to attack instead.

that's a great question, I think she has the same benefit as an opponent with an empty hand, she simply does not discard.

Was able to successfully beat her on Hard mode had to use my own deck build but took 3 tries, almost got it on the second try but 3rd time was the charm! About to try Extreme level now.

Those are precise fit oversized Ultimate Guard sleeves. I used to need them for the late Transformers TCG which had half of the cards oversized, but they fit these perfectly as well

obviously, that's everyone's own choice. They are lovely looking and in some storage solutions they would fit along with top-loaded enchanteds for instance. In any case, your collection, is your collection and you can store it any way you like, I hope I didn't sound too judgy in the video haha.

@@TheCoinPusher I think it really depends on the type of collector you are. For example, I don't collect to sell. Any enchanted I pull goes into a double sleeve and I build a deck around them. If I didn't know what to do with an enchanted yet then I may use this divider. If your a collector who is looking to sell, then perhaps putting the slabs behind the dividers but it would definitely be better to store them in a safer storage case

@@seankart4459 sure that's absolutely fair. I sell my enchanteds so I keep them pristine, I don't collect and use cards only to play (still handle them carefully). But indeed, it all depends on the type of collector or player!

This trove was shipped to me a day early so that it would be on time for Friday, luckily the post office worked fast so I received it before official release. I decided to schedule it for midnight on release day so there would be no complaints about breaking street-dates (and it's a fun start to the day that brings us set 4!). I'm planning on releasing a lot more shorts of pack openings for this set, but I also have a video planned on the starter decks and, of course, the Illumineer's Quest co-op game. These videos, especially the shorts, will fill the next 3 months until we get to set 5 (please, let's not talk about set 5 already). Thanks for yet another amazing set with amazing product Ravensburger!

I played this at Flaherty’s and I got almost all of the cards except for thanos. It was their best game because it’s reliable for tickets thanks to the super spin

Thanos is the rarest one, so keep a hold of at least one of each until you find the thanon and get the set bonus!

@@TheCoinPusher I actually got rare cards in coin pushers before, and my first rare card was tribbles in the Star Trek coin pusher, and they weren’t even the last card that I needed, so I got the rest of the cards and completed the set and then I traded them to the prize shop for a 2,500 ticket full set jackpot! I also got rare cards in the dc coin pusher in cyber quest, that being aqua man and darkseid. They weren’t even the last cards I needed, because I got Superman last for the hero set and I got almost all of the villain cards except for cheetah, so I only traded my hero set for 3,100 tickets (plus the hero bonus)

Being totally honest, I miss playing them, but covid changed the scene so much, makes it harder to sit down, relax and play AND be allowed to record, so it's been harder to do it. Have played them less than 5 times in the past three years 🫣

yeah that used to be fun, now it's all digital sadly. I don't miss the ticket-eater that counted your tickets for hours before you got them on your card, though... that thing was slow and got stuck so often, lol

@@TheCoinPusher i went to an arcade a few years ago and it was the first time I had gone since I was a kid. So it was my first time using a ticket eater. Another machine I found mesmerizing. I don’t go to arcades very often. But when I do I have fun. i went to that same arcade a year later and they went completely digital and the game that I won all my tickets from was broken. No more mesmerizing ticket dispensing/eating :(. Lol i do like watching KZbinrs play games though. Living vicariously i guess lol

I don't think it will be that big of a problem as so far this is looking more like a player driven game instead of Pokemon (outside of Japan) being very collector driven. I do agree though that they need to redesign the box to also be closed on the sides (should be an easy change). Don't expect any change for set 2, but hopefully come set 3 booster boxes will be better closed.

It's a very good question, the answer is that it depends on the arcade. The machine has the possibility to set the number of times you can stop the wheel on the bonus. So yeah it is rigged, but I know arcades where the setting is on 1, meaning every spin can get you the bonus through skill. I believe most use a setting between 5 and 7 though.

I found the answer to my question: the Manuel to the machine itself said balls dispense per 150 tokens on default machine settings and can go up to 500 per ball!! Wow highway robbery if they push that number close to 500!! Although I will say there does seem to be a random element to when infinity stones are dropped

I think it's a setting the arcade can do themselves, so it's definitely not the same everywhere, but on this one it's the number of coins shot into the machine (either by yourself or by the machine because you hit some sort of bonus).

Hey Tim, thanks for that question. Arcades have opened again, but my life has changed during covid, so I have less time to go there and film and also less drive after not having been able to go there for the better part of two years. That's not to say I won't again in the near future, but I currently can't find the time for the couple of hours (4 to 5) it takes to go there, film some videos etc. not to mention the editing of course.
