If I remember correctly, the park’s president was talking about retheming the area to be more spooky. He said in one of the two press conferences.

The now defunct San Fransisco Dungeon had an indoor drop tower called Escape From Alcatraz… a lot of fun too bad it’s closed 😢

Hello, great video about such interesting equipment. Here in Brazil we have a Giant Drop from Intamin that is 70 meters high. Located in Hopi Hari, it is in the European-themed region. The tower itself is a replica of the Eiffel Tower in Paris and is called "La Tour Eiffel" The equipment has been closed since 2012 due to an incident at the attraction and the current management is studying how to reactivate it. (Hopi Hari is the park that has the old King Kobra from Kings Dominion or Thunderlooper from Alton Towers) hugs from Brazil ;)

@@LimitlessParkI'm happy to have helped and spread the word a little more about my home park, even though this specific tower doesn't bring positive memories to the park. I still hope to see it operating again one day. Here in Brazil we have few large parks, there are only two. Our best roller coasters are one SLC and one RCCA (help! hahaha) Keep up the good content and well-produced videos, it's satisfying to watch them!

The ride is delayed 6 months apparently. It's an Intamin prototype drifting coaster so it's obviously going to have issues while testing. Also its being built on a hillside, and that was likely the reason it was delayed. This video is hilarious and amazing! Can't wait for 2026 and YES I am a HUGE fan of Fast and Furious Hollywood Drift! DRIFTY 4EVERRR

Surprised to see AZ so high. 😋 Then Utah just one step ahead. I will say Primordial is definitely a step up in their attractions at Lagoon. The rollercoaster in Primm, NV was so fun. I’m sad it closed. This is a good list and gives some ideas of where to go for good coasters.

As a Mainer honestly its placed around the right ranking, Funtown is basically the only theme park, OOB isnt like what it use to be back in the early mid 2000's and dont hear as much talk about the one in york much anymore (this one could just be a me thing tho)

Glad I did the state justice. Only time I went to Maine was to go to Portland, so I didn't visit any parks there. But I saw Jason Bourne (2015) there so that was cool. Thanks for the input!

Not only is literally half of Carowinds and its entire parking lot in South Carolina, but also Copperhead Strike, Afterburn, and Intimidator are located completely in the state of South Carolina, and part of Fury 325 is in South Carolina as well. Seems kind of insane it give it all to North Carolina just because of the address.

From a context standpoint, you could also get a spectacular alternate view of IYHW when riding the Peoplemover. The ride was literally designed to take advantage of the Peoplemover so that when you passed through there were three preview windows that let you first look down on the Caribbean Port, then in the second window Dunns River Falls and then on the left a third preview window that let you see New Orleans. Unfortunately when Dreamflight was designed they totally gave ZERO thought to how it would look from the Peoplemover and consequently this resulted in the first window (which only would have let you see the back of a movie screen) being closed up with a diorama while the third window, which was now looking down on a swirling jet engine light effect before you entered the Speed Room had to be covered with a curtain. And when Buzz Lightyear came in, they again didn't give any thought to utilizing the lost preview window space. So for those of us back then, this was a ride you could experience twice much in the same way Mr. Toad's Wild Ride could be done twice.

Thanks for the retrospective! I went on IYHW multiple times in the 1970s and 1980s... it's the twin sister of Disneyland's Adventure Thru Inner Space. The "vibe" of the ride was not conducive to audio-animatronics, or the upkeep they would require. It was made to be kitchy (and cheep for the corporate sponsor). It really was a laid back, AIR CONDITIONED, and ticket free ride that my parents thoroughly enjoyed. P.S. The Jamaican water fall scene is from Dunn's River Falls... and yes, my wife and I have climbed up those same waterfall(s). It's a tourist trap/ excursion.

For Nintendo I always thought a general space/sci fi themed area would be great. Could incorporate a Star Fox interactive simulator type ride, Metroid dark ride, and an F-Zero coaster. Don’t see these IPs being able to get their own full themed land but together would be great.

I had an idea for Nintendo to replace Marvel Super Hero Island, Hulk would become an Star Fox Roller Coaster, Storm and FF Café would become a Pikmin dark ride, Spider-Man would become a Metroid ride, F-Zero and Rosalina would have stores and Doom's Tower area would become a Kirby Café. I called Nintendo Space Port.

According to leaks and rumors provided by theme park news channels I follow, the expansion area for Super Nintendo World is for a Luigi's Mansion attraction, and the expansion area for the Dark Universe is based on Creature from the Black Lagoon. The expansion area for Harry Potter is supposedly a broomstick simulator attraction that was meant to replace Fear Factory at Florida but was changed to move to Epic Universe. The Lost Continent Area at Islands of Adventure would get replaced by Zelda, and the Simpsons area will be replaced by Pokemon supposedly.

Actually the broomstick ride was originally made for Epic Universe before changing to replacing Fear Factor and believed to be canceled now. Harry Potter has a very large area for expansion so should hopefully get a great ride eventually. It is rumored to get a Great Hall dining experience next though.
