Keeping cement flooring clean is generally straight forward. Normal sweeping and mopping does the work. But there are a few things to note. • clean spills immediately to prevent staining • avoid harsh chemicals that may damage the protective layer • may require periodic resealing to protect the protective layer Also, the installation process is more tricky. It takes an experienced professional to ensure it is smooth and level. Proper materials are also required to prevent impurities that will surface and to ensure its durability. There’s also the curing process that needs to be taken note of. All in all, it can be a beautifully handcrafted flooring with natural waves, crack lines, without grout lines. It’s aesthetic and expansive. That’s provided it is done well, maintained and protected well.

spacing the sofa away from the wall may make the room feel bigger and more open but will damage the sofa in the long run especially if the backrest is not made of sturdy material. It is always recommended to place the sofa leaning towards the wall.
