Latest Zoo Inventory, 2012, shows that a higher percentage of long-lived Parrots(Greys) died than short-lived ones(Budgerigars). Total death toll in 3 years now approaching 300.

@ivorthicken Given that many birds there were rescued at an advanced age or in poor condition, a mortality rate of 9% is not unusual at all, especially when several hundred birds are of quite short lived species such as budgies or karakiris. I've been over 20 times and it absolutely is not a hell hole. The other videos you quote are highly selective from people with an agenda, showing birds that arrived at the zoo in a terrible state; I know - I rescued some of them.
