Does that die normally have another hole? Like did they just happen to skip machining the needed hole on your die and normally that die does have the extra hole?
@tothwelding83295 ай бұрын
Die is supposed to have the hole for the pin to drop into so I can repin and bend 180. I ended up machining the hole so I was able to finish the job I bought the die for. Without that hole you cannot bend 180

Did you copy Cyrious's design on your floating head, or did they copy yours? LOL Also how did you get CandCNC to send you a new USB key? I've been trying to get them to send me the software for days. I bought a used table and it didn't come with the little PC. They keep telling me I have to buy a new PC.
@1970tattooman6 ай бұрын
i went online and have been looking at different designs or many years. This was my 3rd table build and built everything on my table from experience of my other tables. I dont care for the cyrious design and never copied anything they have because their tables are basicly a copy of a kit table thats been sold for many years. You have to buy a computer from them just like i did. You got screwed when you bought the table without the computer. Thier software is locked so you cant just download it also. If you have a table the table will pay for itself

What I did was work for a few different companies to get experience from different people. Then I took my income tax money and bought a used welder and started welding in my back yard. If you're actually good you'll make a name for yourself fairly fast. I worked 10 to 12hrs a day and on weekends when needed. Found a storage place that had power and worked from there. People want a shop to go to not someone's house. Make money put it back into the shop. Better equipment the faster you'll get jobs done. If you only work 8hrs and that's it someone like me will always take your jobs. I answer calls whenever and will work Saturday and Sunday if needed. That's how I have what I have

In sheetcam add some over cut on thicker stuff so you don't have to hammer where the end is. Also do you dis able the dthc on thick material. I do.
@tothwelding83298 ай бұрын
Yes i have the shape library in sheetcam and i do use it on accasion. I have my laptop in my office where i can sit in the ac instead of standing in front of my table. I did get it to work as far as the oxy fuel cutting, but every time you ask a question on candcnc he will twist the question around and either avoid giving a correct answer or blame you for not doing something else that has nothing to do with the issue. I dont cut alot of the thicker metal and i do add overcut just change and add more on the next one till its right
@tjs_welding_and_fabrication8 ай бұрын
I see your posts on the candcnc forum in regards to oxy cutting. I for the life of me won't even attempt to try it. For what we pay, this should work without thinking like a software engineer. Good luck.
@Freetheworldnow8 ай бұрын
Why don't you program your part directly in to sheet cam as the part is so simple. While you are at it, it would be nice of you to tell us what your plasma settings are for the chosen material. Thanks for sharing.🎉
@tothwelding83298 ай бұрын
You can't program or draw the part in cad directly in sheetcam. Sheetcam is for cam. Settings are book settings that are stored in sheetcam. Every material has its own setting
@tjs_welding_and_fabrication8 ай бұрын
There is a shape library in the newer sheet cam if that is what you are referring to. However canacnc won't put the download up on their site. I don't want to loose the loaded tools from command cnc if I try and do it myself from Les.

While it made it do what it was supposed to do it really didn't fix the issue. By changing a rule it made it worse at the beginning and I haven't used that computer since because I'm not ready to waste metal cutting jobs. Small parts maybe but not cutting full sheets to find other issues. I'm going to wipe the hard drive and do a fresh install and see if it will really fix it. My reply from candcnc is he don't need to see no video because he can read the gcode and as long as the fix from Less works then this issue is resolved

I know alot of people will just start bothering tech support as soon as something happens. I atleast spent a week going through everything to make sure it wasnt something stupid. Tech support likes to twist your questions around and make you out to be a stupid one. Just like when i posted my question on thier site where it clearly says what kind of system i have and someone makes a comment about a 20yr old system and then tech support replies based off a 20yr old system which is completely different. @tothwelding8329 I know what you mean. I complained about the torch hopping up and down on thick material. He kept telling me my z car was missing steps. 3 pages long od bs. Then someone posted a year later with the same issue. He told the fix. Slow down the dthc response time and the acceleration on all axis. I had to pull it out of him what the setting should be. His response was still twisted. He needs to retire cause his writing sucks with all the misspelled words you cannot even understand one sentence.
