I returned my Beatbot Aquasense robot after a frustrating month using it. It did a terrible job of cleaning my pool as it just pumped most sand and fine debris out the back of the unit at high pressure making my pool murky. The basket filter only seemed to collect leaves and never sand or dust. Also, the so called 'intelligent mapping' didn't seem to work at all. It just went around randomly and would leave large areas totally uncleaned. Regarding the battery, it would only last about 90 minutes and then stop. I ended up buying the exact Polaris model you showed in the video (it's branded as Zodiac in Europe) and it is absolutely superior to the Beatbot in every sense and it's double basket filter collects even the finest sand and dust with ease. Maybe I was just unlucky with the Beatbot mapping and battery life and was sent a defective unit, but the Zodiac filter is way superior.

I have the sonoff temp gauge and it's offline most of the time. In both the smart life and tuya app you can't see anything, such as the history or last measurement, when it's offline. It also is locked to Celsius in the app (the hardware is F/C selectable and updates measurements relatively fast, but it's expensive when the smart isn't very smart.). I'm not sure if I'm missing something to make the device usable between zigbee updates.

The Biggest source of CO2 in your Office is not your MAC, it's YOU! I do IAQ test for my clients as part of the HVAC service and it is quiet shocking to see the CO2 levels increase with each person that enters an enclosed space. Inadequate ventilation is a common cause of fatigue and mood conflicts within the working environment - it can never be understated!
@yoyoTechKnows
@yoyoTechKnows 18 күн бұрын

Hi. Maybe can someone help me. I have HA Setup on a remote Server hosted by a friend of mine with the offical iso. The manual installation of HA core on ubuntu didnt worked somehow so it tried the iso. To be able to see my solar inverter and stuff I need to setup a VPN Connection to my fritzbox/lan. How do i configure this in HA? all the guides I have found are for when you want to connect to your HA remotely. but first i have to get the connection to my fritzbox and my local network.
@yoyoTechKnows
@yoyoTechKnows 22 күн бұрын
Not 100% sure how you are trying to set this up - but you would most likely need to use your network gear to create the VPN and create a route to allow access from your home assistant box. I don't think there is any easy way to do this with Home Assistant itself! Hope that helps - thanks for watching!

Great video. Starting small is the key takeaway IMO. You can’t always automate everything with the time and money you have, so do it in increments. Sonos quality , its not, default speakers have a max frequency response of 44khz witch is low and apple belike, also 16 bit depth, i dont know about you guys but a good speaker have better responce and faster, for default start at 48khz , the sub dont go as low as 45 hz, also it is not powerfull enough compare to a speedsub, even kef do a better job for the pricetag, where audio matthers not eco system , and tons of useless latency adding junk and outdated hardware , i mysefl habe 2 sonos roams , 2 era 100 and a sub gen 3, they litterly dont outperfom kef r3 witha rotel rb-1070, they dont decrease bass when going above 50% volume unlike sonos, they let windows vibrade unlike sonos sub gen 3 witch is on paper more powerfull, they dont eform sound above 70% or push back the sound like sonos. Quality and good sound is not what sonos should have, its the dumb eco system like apple beleving peopel they have pro devices

It looks very compelling, but don’t they sell any full “kits” for example an 8 camera kit that includes everything you need to set up your system?
@yoyoTechKnows
@yoyoTechKnows Ай бұрын
I don't think there are any kits, but you can just mix and match to create your own. I find I don't always use all the cameras in the kits anyways - I did a lorex review a while back and the provided camera's were not used for the install I did. My recommendation is to get a Dream Machine pro or SE - geni.us/x8JW - this is your base for network and security, then pick the cameras you need for each location. Most often I use the G5 Flex - geni.us/rivftOo - or the PRO cameras - geni.us/5kRJ08Z - for even higher res. You could even go wireless if you can't get a cat5 cable run to some locations. There is nothing else you need! - anyway, thanks for watching and the feedback - good luck with your install!
