Stadia relies on your internet speed, not the hardware components of your system. The game runs on Google's servers and gets streamed to your device, much like Netflix or KZbin, so your input controls the game remotely.

The only difference for the paid version is the higher resolution. The gameplay is the same, only up to 1080p60.

Web browser, and I couldn't get a native like experience even on 4K, neither in FIFA nor in other titles that I've tried. Feel free to purchase to see for yourself, you can always refund within two hours of playtime, so there's no loss there.

You're probably gonna get more out of fifa on PS4 since the player base is so much bigger than PC. It'll be slower but for fifa I wouldn't care about smoothness.

Thank you for this Video. The Stadia Version looks very good. I saw a other comparsion Video with Stadia PC & xBox where the Stadia version didn´t look so good like your capture. Input lag can have many causes. Someone have it more than others, maybe the distance to the Google Data Center plays a role.

I notice that a lot of people dislike the fact that I encountered input lag. Look, I want Stadia to succeed as much as you do. I wish it was my go to platform for FIFA 22 as it is on par with the current gen consoles. This has been my experience with the platform, despite many hours of troubleshooting. There are options to consider, like using it on Chromecast, or using a Stadia controller, but on my current setup (web browser on PC/Android app on my phone), Stadia is underperforming. As soon as that changes, I will let you know.

Honestly this is widely based on your home network. I played the trial on series x and I grabbed it on stadia. It was the same for me. When people say the lag on stadia is awful, chances are it is their network.

Based on what most comments say, input lag is highly dependent on your location (as connection speed/quality isn't an issue for me). You have a 2 hour refund window so feel free to try it and see for yourself.

The input lag is mainly due to your internet or playing wirelessly, I play wired so input lag is minimal

If you want 4K, you'll have to pay $10.00 a month for that perk. Otherwise it will be 1080p.

@@cumulusgaming8238 Yes. Consider it to be the same getting xbox live or ps now since they give you games every month. But if you want to play only 1080p, it isn't required. Plus you don't need a subscription to play online like xbox or playstation.

There are so few improvements to the PC version that it literally took you 60 seconds to mention them all. That's pathetic. Can't wait for FIFA 2023, so we can get the rest of the crap that EA refused to give PC's this year. Oh, but then they'll announce more stuff for 2023 that won't be included in the PC version until 2024, because, you know, PC's can't handle all of these intense visuals. FIFA games are visually the most impressive video games ever made. Our PC's might explode if we dare play them.

FIFA 08 was the first PS3 title, they kept PC last gen until FIFA 12 (with 11 being a hybrid between 10 and 11 from consoles). FIFA 14 was next-gen on PS4 and last-gen on PC with FIFA 15 being on par on all platforms. This is just following the trend. EA like to play it extremely safe when it comes to PC releases of FIFA, as they claim that most of the players are running on older specs so they need to cater to them.

@@andreidmny Yeah I remember this annoyance so well. They pretty much did that for every sports titles too, from NHL to NBA live. Still, it cannot be help that most AAA games only catter to optimize their games on consoles. Not only for the next gen stuff but also when it comes to the bare minimum once the console is no longer new for the next 3 or 5 years of its life span.

Stadia having input delay is just a lie, the problem is on your end. There are several tests where stadia even outperforms local consoles latency wise. So if YOU have problems with delay, consider searching the problems at your end and don't blame Stadia for it.

Fair enough, any ideas? Internet connection is stable, I'm using a wired controller, running both default and recommended Stadia settings, tried all resolutions 720p to 4K. That's my experience with the platform. Also, there are tests on sites like PCGamer which reliably got over 120ms delay on Stadia (on Destiny 2 and other titles), so you just might happen to be less sensitive to it than others.

Fact is that the added input lag depends also on where you are located physically. Someone located very close to a Google data center would probably have very little to no noticeable additional input lag. In my experience (Italy) it's very similar to console

Mouse/keyboard is supported same as in the PC version, but I haven't tried it. If you can on PC, you most likely can on Stadia as well.

@@andreidmny You mean ARMA is a dying type of game. I'm not so sure. But Red River as I saw it was a very interesting attempt to make a fusion of cod-type of game and tactical shooters with their freedom. You could tell it going through the campaign, where first missions were a bit like in cod ,and the last ones had bigger maps offering different options to approach targets.
