That old Buick Special with what you called a checkered grille was a 1958, my father had 2 of them in the 1960’s. They were known as the chrome kings and one of my favorite car s of all times besides the 1970 Buick GS 455 convertible I had back in the 70’s.

He perfectly described his character as an "Urban Rat" and he perfectly played it. My favorite scene was his suggestion that he, Jim and a blind psychologist Jim was helping do a phony telethon and pocket the contributions. "You can tell Miss Prissy to drop the blind act; I ain't gonna snitch." [Jim: "What's wrong with you, she IS blind."] "You be the M.C., she'll be the helpless victim. Love it!!! I'll play the research doctor; I'll take a painless 2%." LOL Thanks for the laughs and memories, Stuart!
