Great photos of this beautiful island. I recognise some places from my family holidays in the 60s but captions would have been nice. I have an old book of photographs of the island in Edwardian, if not Victorian times. My son found it in a secondhand book shop and i really treasure it.

That was lucky. But you see there could of ended so differently. A serious incident resulting in the death of spectators could result in the 3nd of the isle of man TT. That would also be a tragedy.
