Great job! this takes the same approach I was first trying to use in my own autoplayer, however you took it much farther because after a lot of headaches with the said colorspaces, I just switched to computer vision. Also, I do think it's pretty misleading to call this AI, although I would be very impressed if someone trained a neural network to play Festival

hello! When I run festivalplayer.exe it does not allow me to run it because it was not found VCRUNTIME140D.dll. MSVCP140D.dll. ucrtbased.dll. and VCRUNTIME140_1D.dll.

The project is great and is a headache to do all this, and even you say in your video that consumes much in my case I tried on a pc without external graphics card and works fine, and I wanted to see how it was with delay in xcloud and detects the keys but the input is not sent I think it is in the way it detects the cloud when we press our keyboards in my case I used the edge browser I have not tried other browsers to see if something changed.

@@Jacobwafflez Maybe the errors you have is that you don't have all the visual libraries installed from 2013 to 2022 or if not, I wouldn't know what other problem you might have.

Try out the PS/2 port! It's straightforward to use for your needs! Or, emulate the USB HID keyboard class. (you'd need microcontroller hardware for that, probably)

BTW, consider using a quick charge power supply with a voltage trigger. It'd act as a regular power supply, but you might need a DC-DC voltage converter.

Also, could you consider using a separate power line for your actuators? So, your SoC won't reboot.

Actually at the end of video I used a DC power supply for train H0 models railway. It was 18v so I used a drop-down controller to 12v. And it was used as a separate line for actuators and relays only. The esp32 was powered with just an usb from pc. And by the way thanks for the idea with emulating keyboard!

nice, love small channels! instead of the hole thing you can just hack the key board and bridge between the contacts to simulate a key press, uses much less power and have no moving parts so less things can fail, think about it :)

Hi @troxnl2431, sorry for misunderstanding but by original link it's only a source code with some dependencies for IDE of your choise. Sadly I am currently have a lack of time recently but here I upload on GitHub additional repository with compiled program, there is only necessary to run things and .exe to run. Very good video! Amazing topic and pacing. I personally use ZXC for the first 2 notes and middle note, and my mouse for the last 2 and the middle note. It really helps me be better at Festival mode. I think you should give it a try. Also, they are indeed called notes.
