Well proving no biblical reason why you can't be a Catholic and a Mason from a Mason side you can certainly be Catholic Anna Freemason. I don't know about you but Freemasonry says that you can worship the god that you want. Yes the foundation of America in the constitution of Bill of Rights gave us freedom of religion. In most American city you have protesting Catholic Anglican Jewish Islam Hindu quite many different churches. That freedom of religion that the Freemasons wrote into the Constitution and founded this country allows all people of Faith to worship God in your own way. Well that certainly is a benefit to Catholics but to all people who do believe in God. You're welcome! I don't know too much about whether or not the Catholics really worship or have a tolerance to other religions historically they were downright brutal to anybody who didn't believe the way they did. The Original Manuscript (handwritten) Holy Scriptures does not have Chapters and Verses in Arabic Numerals (numbers)... it was only added in the Early 1200s by a Roman Catholic Archbishop Stephen Langton of Canterbury who was also a Professor from the University of Paris, France... Adding Chapters and Verses created so many problems in Christianity... one major problem was that, instead of taking the Context and Meaning of the WHOLE Scripture O.T / N.T., they allowed themself to "Pick and Choose," to focus more on what Chapters and Verses they wanted Christianity (Church of God in Christ Jesus) to be and practiced them... For example, they saw the Chapter and Verse about TITHINGS, so some Christians practice TITHINGS in their CHURCH... others saw the Chapter and Verse about "Keeping Holy the 7th Day Sabbath," so some Christians practiced the Saturday Sabbath like the Israelite Jews, instead of Christ's Sabbath (REST) which was Sunday (1st Day of the Week), Christ's Resurrection Day attested by 4 Gospel Writers... and many more... That is one major reason why there are more than 5,000 Registered Protestant Denomination Churches around the World (not counting the unregistered Churches) and still growing every single day... On Judgment Day of God (YHWH) that person will be responsible for ADDING Chapters and Verses to the WORD OF GOD which is prohibited by God. (ref. Deut. 4:2 / Rev. 22:18). i am beyond conflicted because i was offered a really good job that suits my needs as neurodivergent person, but i would need to work one sunday a month. granted the person offering the job is also catholic and would like to be able to have at least one sunday where they go mass. how do i go about this situation?
