Just heard this version today after reading a Guardian article about Terry Reid. Am now a fan, it's never too late!

My God Terry you’ve never lost it. You were my hero back in the late 60’s when I was just a teenage girl of 15yrs and here I am again almost 70yrs and still lost in your soul. I said it a million times no one , NO ONE could ever put in the performances you did, not then or since. I’m in bits ❤

Saw Terry in '69 at Forum in LA. He was on the bill with BB King, Ike and Tina Turner and the Stones. I'd heard him on recordings but live he was too soulful to even describe just as good as it gets. And now with this performance he has inspired me all over again. What an artist this man is. Excellent work Roman Candle, thank you.

He was great when he did this while he was young...I'm actually thanking the Gods of KZbin that this totally soulful rendition is preserved. Too bad kids today can't understand how good the music we've been blessed with (WAY before autotune) actually is. Terry was, is, and always shall be in my heart and soul while I'm on stage paying tribute by singing his music. I get chills listening to this!

I discovered Terry Reid only recently. I fell in love with all his earlier performances on here but wondered what this would be like as singers can so often disappoint when they are older. Having read the comments I decided to listen. I don’t have words to describe how amazing I think this is. So good I am almost in tears. Just sublime.

I listened to Terry Reid back in the 70’s, we were both much younger then! I knew every word to every song. I knew he was very special then and am so happy to see he is still at it. ❤️🙏🏻

It's a shame when such talent doesn't have the light on it that it deserves.

Very late finding this, I first saw Terry at ' Progressive Night ' at a club in Wolverhampton probably 1970, have been a fan ever since ( can I be a fan at 76 ? ). The organiser apologized for the increased admission charge to book Terry, the normal groups for this night were local start ups so probably playing for petrol money ! I purchased the Super Lungs vinyl album and every subsequent release since then, Thanks Terry

Age has tempered Terry Reid’s unique voice over the past 50+ years, but he could really soar vocally back in the day, he really could.

A cocoon of pure poetry - with a light touch of sadness; lyrical warmth and the right depth of passion. Why have I only discovered Terry Reid this past week . . . a gem of a musician. Keep creating, singing and playing as long as you can Mr. Reid - the world needs you. What a legacy.
