In such cases when one has to reference a verse from the Bible one can use Google search for quick assistance. For example, I do, "Bible Hub, old wine, old wineskin; new wine, new wineskin". Viola. Bible Hub gives me the chapter and verse, and more.

@ChrisAbdouch-g4t I have seen myself chained to other women, as an adult; had that dream when I was about 9yo; I do believe that was prophetic re great tribulation. I've also dreamt of myself walking thru war-torn, desolate streets & buildings. I also had a dream about a severe famine in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Only had that dream a few years ago, just before covid actually. I believe it mostly represented a spiritual famine, but also probably a physical famine.

Let's remember that John's instructions to the Ecclesia were intended *only* for the brothers and sisters of the Ecclessia. They were not intended for "friends", unbelieving family, etc. Paul told us not to be unequally yoked for a reason. John taught us to confess to one another, but both proved that the intention was to bring the Assembly closer to one another (confessing our sins is humbling, and God abhors haughtiness). We are not to pray in public, true, but a brother/sister private conversation about our weaknesses is *not* a public prayer, it is a secret conversation between ourselves, the brother/sister, and the Most High God. Even Messiah Himself taught us the importance of secrecy (Matthew 6:6). If you can't keep a secret between yourself, your brother/sister, and the Most High, you are not paying attention to Messiah's words.

I do not remember where in the Scriptures I read it, and online searches are always hit-and-miss, but it said, "Confess the sins you do against a man, to that man: confess all other sins, to God." (that might be paraphrased) I know for a fact that it is in there somewhere, because it was 1 of 7 Scriptures I once used in a religious argument with a Catholic Grandmother.

I’ve done the steps. I am a close friend. I do not share and gossip. It’s the most simple thing you can do is to badly talk about somebody behind their back, especially in recovery. I told my priest and my therapist what I needed to get off my heart told me you know I did some bad things too, and I am a sinner. Don’t tell your business to anybody in the program. Listen for for someone to continuously talk about working the program. Listen to the way they don’t go off track about it. Listen for their spirituality.

Yea listen to the bible not people on KZbin. You should confess your sins to your priest. Preferably a Catholic priest. If you've committed a sin against a friend or family member you should confess to them and it's not their job to forgive you it's God's job to do that.

Confessing to a Catholic priest will never go wrong. The Bible says to confess your sins to each other. Catholic priests are literally not allowed to tell anyone your sins no matter how bad. (Even if you've committed atrocities although I'm pretty sure God would prefer you confess serious crimes to the police)
