some people call koishi garuma "koshi nage." other people use the term "koshi nage" to describe a round-the-neck grip but with the legs apart rather as in tai otoshi.

yer welcom. names can be confusing because there really is not standard, even in judo, which is more standaridzed than most systems.

This technic in the video is not kubi nage ..its koshi guruma.......they are not the same.

@@haffoc First, it is koshi guruma and not koishi garuma. Second, in judo, there is no technique called koshi nage nor kubi nage (koshi is the hip, kubi is the neck). Koshi guruma requires arm around the neck (no grip !). You engage the hip but no hip bump (as you would do in O goshi) because it is a wheel around the hip. Kubi nage is not an official Kodokan judo throw.
