I think instead of heating tires in microwave it is better to put the tire in hot water for few minutes until it’s soft enough.

Thank you ! You saved my life and YES I lost about 2000 calories trying to get the tire out and the new one back in (the sloid one!!) TIP ..... TIP ....... If you don't want to use the Microwave : BOIL water in a pot, turn it OFF and stick the tire in for 5 mins !!! It works !!!!
