Such an awesome video! Great footage and the editing quality is top notch man. How did you get all the Google Earth clips? Did you screen record or use another application?
@tbromedia18 күн бұрын
Thanks David!! So for the fly overs I used Google Earth Studio, you can manipulate the camera movements with key frames, import GPX files so there is a trail overlay! Then I export it into Adobe after effects to do the additional headings like the peak names and such!!

I decided to go back and watch some of your earlier vids. I've been a subscriber for a few months but I tend to fall behind on KZbin viewing time. All in an effort to reduce screen time (which isn't always successful, ha). I'm so glad I caught this one; I love hiking at Staunton SP! I'm starting to get back to trail running after time off due to health struggles. I've lived in CO for 40 years but still worry about bear and lion encounters, which sometimes keeps me out of more remote areas. Thanks for the inspiration!

That’s so great to hear you are getting back to trail running!! Best way to explore so much more of this wonderful state we call home!! Ya Bears don’t spook me as much as mountain lions, haha just always hoping to never be one of the rare encounters!! Cheers to the trails!!

Congrats to you guys! What a great idea and glad everything went well, including the 'yes' part lol. I wish I could rock-scramble but that's a thing of the past for me :( I really like your channel - great filming and editing. Great video, those views are crazy! I was wondering what kind of knee brace you're using?

So it’s a patellar knee strap. I’ve been dealing with runners knee, so it helps a bit. That particular one I’m not a fan of, I got a different one that stays put a lot better.

Great video! The best I found so far for reference of the route. Planning to hike the traverse the end of this month. It will be my first class 4. I’m comfortable with scrambling but do have a fear of heights. For the section with high exposure, do you think I could by pass it, just in case?
@tbromedia2 ай бұрын
Glad you enjoyed the video! Being that we stayed ridge proper a lot of the time, I can’t really recall which of the high exposure spots can be bypassed. The crux isn’t very exposed so you should be fine there! The few spots of exposure I always felt there were plenty of foot and hand options so if you are comfortable with scrambling just check your holds and you’ll do great! Just remember the true class 4 sections are short so focus and compose and you’ll crush!
