@@AreEff1987 The left and right arrow keys only bring up the microphone. I may have a defective unit. I have other troubles with it, all related to it's tapping functions.

Unfortunately they're sold out right now. You can pre order their next translator that will hit the market . I have videos of other translators. Travis has the best offline capabilities, because they use more than 3 engines . I would maybe just use google translate if you need something right away

Where did you buy this device and was it expensive? I definitely NEED to get one of these for my husband who is originally from Mexico but he's been in the US for almost 15 years. He speaks and understands about 75% of English but the other 25% he's completely Lost and most of our arguments are because he misunderstands what I say to him or he misunderstands me saying something to someone else and he thinks he knows more than he really does...so even though I try to explain what I was actually saying. He doesn't want to hear it because he knows English "perfectly". So I think this little device could actually help save our marriage and prevent a lot of arguments over misunderstandings.

For english to Spanish, or vice versa it's a great device . Have you tried simply using google translate between you two? @@AreEff1987 didn't work with my hearing aid . Been using it out and about in Vietnam today. When it works it works well. However it isn't loud enough..the constant background noise of motorbikes is a problem. However the biggest problem is what cellular network you are on. At peak times data speed falls and the device becomes useless. It's a public holiday here. I would recommend getting a fast 4g SIM card. As an electronics engineer I am contemplating how to modify it with a louder speaker and seperate microphone.

ok but your demo is not complete! You dont say anything about the wifi connection, this device supposed not to be connected with it. So is it correct, and if yes, how it works without wifi? If it is not the case, the advertisement is false ...thanks.

We have to wait at least 10 years. This is still a weak level, like a high tech manager calculator in the 90's. Nevertheless, it can be very useful in further countries.

Varies with different languages but it does adapt and get better. I'd say 70 percent accurate with anything other than english Spanish translation. Read my comments from other viewers on my videos. You get feedback of accuracy

How old is yours? I have read it's common for most MSI gaming laptops. Sometimes they need to be serviced and it helps. It should only be while gaming, but then it also depends how sever it is when they're in use, but any sound is inevitable

@@nicolaspedrazalis5104 I also have a alienware r13 , and its loud when I'm playing, but not as loud. Point Is I think it's a MSI thing. People have described the same thing as you all over google. I would start to worry if it became a sharp sound like squeaking or rattling...otherwise you're fine. Play with the settings , maybe change fan speed but I would leave it under the recommended settings unless you overclock it

i am korean and that translator was 50percent right and wrong Korean is difficult some word have different sound different meaning so some word can be question but different high or low sound can be not question but i think better than nothing

It can be used offline. But the accuracy is closer to 100 percent with an internet connection. Language like English and Chinese or Spanish are still decent offline

The speaker is not the best but I notice it's clearer with other languages, not always the best sound with others .
