Just got my Mavic the other day. I have only flown it for a few mins. However the RTH was about 4ft off.

Interesting? Did you calibrate the compass and was there any magnetic interference? I've not had any RTH issues with mine. It's more accurate if you're using a landing pad. It gives it a better reference point to mark after it takes off and establishes the RTH point. You have to let it take off and establish the RTH point though. Four feet is not that bad though if you're not using a landing pad.

@@snowfootoutdoors2910 I was unaware of calibrating the compass. I will have to figure that out. Also I am using a landing pad. Thank you for your help.

@@DroneIt-bf9xp yes, you should always calibrate the compass before flying. Once is enough but if you are move to different locations you should recalibrate before the first flight. Plenty of how to videos out there but it's easy and straightforward. Good luck!

Or you could do it manually by yourself

Dji should add better scanners sensor to scan the landing pad, so you dont have to worry about every time you done your flight or your battery going low
