These cutscenes really give me the impression that Henry is sort of in a fucked up dream state when exploring Walters world (with the twist that they can kill Henry). Just like in a dream everything is unclear and in a blur, confusing and hard to perceive. I would love to see this aesthetic in more media.

It's ironic that Manhunt, despite being the only Rockstar title to be movie themed, only has like 36 minutes of cutscene sequences, while other games' of the same house are likely above 3 hours

I genuinely really like Walter's and especially Eileen's voice acting. Walter sounds so creepy and slimy in the best way, and Eileen sounds believable both as a nice, normal, sociable young woman in the real world and a terrified and traumatized victim of attempted murder in the other world. And you know what, Henry's not that bad either. He's quiet, but he gets the job done.

He means it in so many ways. One being his first son and his closely ally. The one kain decided he was the one that could save the world. And the fact that he's soul was in the sword and kain happens to be right handed. Raziel was truly kain's kindred blade

this is why we cant have nice things! utter travesty that we dont have a sequel to this game. nothing published to tell us how the story ends.

Raziel: "The Reaver was never forged to be a soul-stealing weapon. The ravenous, soul-devouring entity trapped in the blade was, and always had been... ME." The biggest "Oh, shit." moment in the entire game. After the already shocking reveal that Raziel is the one who killed Janos Audron as a Sarafan priest, we then get this bombshell dropped on us. Freaking insane, man.

Umah's death must have REALLY affected Kain badly. Not only does he cope with her death by accusing the Sarafan Lord of having her as a spy... But it is likely his main motivation in Defiance as well, otherwise why would he be so worried about Janos' return and the Hylden's plan when he already knows he wins the fight?

I like subzeros wide stance throughout the cutscenes lol

WHY IS THIS GAME NOT ON PC!?!? SERIOUSLY, it's a really impressive game in the humour department.

Ive has this game for years and Im yet able to unlock everything

I absolutely LOVE how the game handled the 'Two Champions" legend. Yes it made implications that lead to Kain finding out he is the Vampire Champion and Raziel the Hylden Champion... But even the game's design was made to keep the audience guessing until the end. (Though it seems like this detail was over looked.) A lot of this has to do with Kain and Raziel's appearances. Yes it's obvious where Raziel's appearance of wings and blue skin was obvious to create suspicion that he was the vampire champion, we all know that. But KAIN'S appearance I feel goes very over looked. Kain's skin in SR2 is a sickly yellow and in LOKD he is more of a pale tan. Both skin colors were used in murels of the Hylden. Also his head crescents upwards into points, from the eyebrows which is similar to how the horns on the Hylden Champion's head form in the murals. On top of this the Hylden Champion is revealed to be wielding a flaming sword which yes is obviously supposed to be the Wraith Reaver, but the doubt comes from the fact that the Blood Reaver at this point in the game (If I remember right) only has the fire upgrade, especially since the Wraith Reaver is supposed to be the ACTUAL form of the Soul Reaver where the Blood Reaver is only supposed to be the vessel. Hence while the mural depicted the Vampire Champion with the Soul Reaver in physical form, because it could be used to imply the mural is referring to the true reaver rather than the physical one. All of this coupled with the fact Raziel keeps getting told he's the Champion of the Vampires by Janos. Then you have the subtle hints that Raziel never was a vampire but always a Hylden. One thing to keep in mind is Raziel's wings. Before he was tossed into the abyss they had the exact shape of the hylden wings SPECIFICALLY when they were folded upwards instead of spread out. Since the pillars were weakened and the Hylden were corrupting the circle, it's likely Kain created a hylden by mistake. Again, obviously we all knew Kain was the vampire champion but it feels like most of us missed these little hints that were meant to cause doubt.
