I loved this series growing up in the 1970s. The Buscema brothers were the only artists and they did a great job. I wish Marvel would release the entire series in omnibus format.

I use to pwn that issue but i never read it. I had over 500 vonan issues but lost them all due to gambling but eventually bought most of them back. Marvels Conan the king series was really great. Im gonna start reading them soon. My goal is to read all the marvel conans and the dark horse too.i also want to eatch all your videos too.

I read these when they came out. They were pretty historically accurate,too. Roy Thomas did his research. The art was great too. Ive actually still got them. I was lookimg atnthem a few weeks ago,

Yes, agreed, considering all the Dracula adaptations out there, these are really not bad at all. And the art fits. I heard Todd say Tomb of Dracula was a big inspiration for him. I'll have to get some of those too.

I have every Elric comic besides "Elric the Necromancer" from the last couple years. I do not have all the variants, but I have every comic story about elric. The only Elric in Marvel is Conan #14 and 15. BTW, Elric is described as anemic when he's not feeding stormbringer. FYI, Elric and Man-thing both travel the Moonbeam roads.

All obvious criticisms of this video aside, you should probably know that 'Justin Arthur' was a pseudonym for... wait for it... Roy Thomas. He wrote the last issue of this 'Young Conan' arc & added the King Conan epilogue simply to address the inconsistencies of this story compared to the existing canon.

I was never a big conan fan, but I bought a bunch of copies of 14 and 15 for the Elric appearances. For what it's worth, I think you're spot on with the way our social structure is these days. As for your friend, it sounds to me like they don't want to rock the boat too much. You really seem to be an intelligent person that has a lot going on in their head and you just speak what you're thinking for the most part, and that can scare people. The real trick is to not let how they react affect you too much. Keep at it! Like you said, you know that you'll probably be at it on your own for quite a while... might as well do it for yourself for now, get those skills back in shape, build a body of work and let all that attract the people of like mind that you seek. You're not wrong, and you aren't alone. Most of us just aren't in a good place, but like you are seeking a better place. Hang in there and I look forward to seeing you succeed.
