Wow - Thanks for giving the max amp rating (6 amps max @ 12 volts (72 Watts))!!! Been looking to buy this unit but the igloo web site didn't have this basic info. My car has 3 cig-lighter style 12 volt power plugs and my car's owner's manual says that all three should not be asked to draw more than 15 amps (180 watts) total, so I am good to go with this unit. BTW, this device has a solid state electric heat/cool module (no compressor like a std fridge) which means they are quiet and have very few moving parts. Because they suck so little power, they take a while to heat/cool, so the advice I am reading from the web says to pre-cool them, like you did, before taking your trip. BTW - the fan you noted does not blow into the inner chamber, it just draws the heat off the hot side of the electronic cooling module (when in cool mode, in heat mode, this fan will blow cool air). It is vital that the blower grill be kept free from obstructions. According to a 2023 Car & Driver web review/test of this unit (BTW, they like it), it took 2 hours to chill from 71 deg F down to 40 deg F. igloo says that how cool the interior gets is based on the temp of the air outside the device and they only promise to cool a max of 36 deg F below the air temp around the unit, so starting at 71, this unit should have gotten down to 35 deg F, but, as I said, Car & Driver testers said it only got down to 40 deg. Although, the web says a regular kitchen refrigerator is OK to set between 33 deg & 40 deg with 37 being optimal. Bottom line - this igloo product is meant for use in a vehicle that has A/C set to no higher than 76 deg if igloo is right and 71 deg if Car & Driver was right. This electric cooler is one of the most compact units available and costs $150 if bought direct from igloo. You can spend a lot more for huge units (e.g., $800), that even have a freezer compartment (freezer goes down to -7 deg F for these pricey units)! This 28 quart unit's dimensions, per the igloo web site, are L/W/H: 18"X13"X17" and it weighs a reasonable 12.5 LB (some of the expensive units are as heavy as 35 lb empty!). 28 quarts is a volume equal to a tad under 1 square foot (0.94 sq ft). If you unplug it in a 71 deg car, car & driver says that the inside temp. will rise from 40 deg F to 60 deg F in only 1 hour, faster if the car is off and sitting in the sun. This device only comes with a 12 volt plug to fit into a car cig-lighter style power take-off port, but you can buy third party "110 AC to 12 Volt DC car female cig. lighter socket adapters". igloo sells one on their web site, but it says "sold out" today (7/28/2023), plus at least one review says this adapter "runs hot". Make sure any adapter you buy is good for at least 6 amps.

I had this tv basically last only 1 year and 7 months. And it is out of warranty. It has purple lines and hazes it shows on the screen go in and out and then back to a normal picture and then back to purple lines and hazes. Tried different cable boxes, tried different hdmi cables. The same result. Even tried the composite output for a video game system. Same problem. And it seems like a pain in the butt to get the serial number. Other tvs have labels for the numbers they have on the sticker. They will label it with S/N. Then they will tell you the model number with the label model number. This TV just has stickers claiming it's the version number. Then they have another sticker with a number on it. Not telling you if it's the S/N. Then when you google how to find S/N on Sceptre TVs you can't find an answer. Nothing in the manual states where to find the S/N. If people say oh you get what you pay for. Well, there is no proof spending more on a TV. That it is going to last 2 years even. So why spend more? If they make TVs worse than they did back then. I literally had tvs last 10 to 15 years. We shouldn't have to be buying warranties and just hoping it will at least last more than 5 years. Okay this is another TV. It's a Sceptre 50" Class 4K UHD LED TV U515CV-U. Not the exact brand. But you get the idea that they can't make tvs last more than 2 to 5 years? Same company. Same concept. I guess I'll check tv repair communities.

For some reason we just purchased these and I can't get the speakers to output good loud sound, and the built in radio system is so much lauder then the audio coming out of the speakers for the TV so I know something is very wrong. Is there any specific audio settings you need to configure for either the TV or the devices. I tried with the RCA cables connected to the headphone jack on the back of the tv and I also bought a Digital Video out to RCA converter and tried converting the signal because apparently these speakers run on analog, not digital. Still the sound is so quite, that I have to turn my TV up full blast just to get some sort of sound out of the speakers.
