What disappointed me so much is the choice to pick up Marc Marquez. I know he will gonna destroy the beautiful harmony and chemistry inside the Ducati team. Taking such a disrespectful rider like Marc Marquez was a really bad idea from the Ducati side, and I'm 100% sure they're gonna regret it.

Production figures were, 3200 of the 750 Sei units over two series and 1878 of the 900 Sei models over four series. There were several differences between the 750 and 900 motors, the 750 cylinder block was sloping forwards, the 900 block was upright. The 900 motor was bored and stroked, the 750 had it's alternator behind the cylinder block and above the clutch housing, the 900 had it's alternator mounted to the left hand side of the crankshaft. The 750 had a wet multi-plate clutch, the 900 had a dry multi-plate clutch. I owned a 1980 Mk2 900 Sei for 38 years.

well its a nice looking bike but you never mentioned the huge and fat elephants in the room here 1- It's an Indian TVS bike honestly. Just like Bajaj and KTM.... there's nothing German inside that bike....nothing but the name 2- BMW killed the 650cc G650GS / F650GS (mono) for no real or understandable reason... so now there's no mid-tier GS's now. And, If I'm honest, getting a G650GS is WAY BETTER option than the 310 by far. the F650GS / G650GS is cheaper, more powerful, does not consume much over the 310(3.7L/100), has a HUGE aftermarket, the engine is WAY better (rotax) and the list goes on and on.....
@GenXPertChannel8 күн бұрын
They don't make the 650 anymore, and the F750 is significantly more expensive than the 310. If someone wants a much heavier old bike, go for it- but some people want lightweight and newer bikes. The 310 is a superior city bike, as it's easy to toss around, and insurance is cheaper than renewing the plates for a year. I got mine to use as a GTFO of Manhattan bike if anything goes wrong, but it's amazing up in Vermont on backroads. The topheavy F900 is nowhere near as fun, aside from maybe if one likes to do long distance riding- that's where the F900 is far better, but still the wrong choice vs. a touring bike.
@SuperDaxrider5 күн бұрын
I agree, but someone has to explain why there's no mid tier now. Is sad, the 310 could be a fun bike and as an entry bike is just OK.... you've just repeated the high points of this review. Either you get the germanized TVS indian bike, or the expensive and heavy real bmw. And again.... is not the real deal bmw not a single bolt is coming from austria or germany The f650 (if you know which f650 I'm talking about) is only 16kg heavier. Yes, is older but just because bmw stopped making it, but you can have a nice one from 2011 with low mileage for cheaper, with easier to get spare parts, huge aftermarket capable in and out of the city, and the long etc I mentioned before. And let's not forget to mention there's the Sertao and Dakar variants to do serious stuff Anyway, have fun!
@GenXPertChannel4 күн бұрын
@@SuperDaxrider It doesn't have to have a German bolt to be a BMW. It's warrantied by BMW through their dealer network... Plenty of BMW cars are made in South Carolina and still "real." The arbitrary "it's not a BMW because it's a contract build" or because it's built in another country is silly. A 3 year warranty from BMW with roadside assistance for many people beats buying a used bike. The only important thing is that people get out there and enjoy their bikes.

Spot on review. Once you add a BMW top box and inner bag, it is much more usable as the underseat storage is too small to carry a decent bag on the move. I love this scooter as an everyday commuter as it has excellent weather protection, and with the heated seat and grips and the optional scooter canopy to cover your legs, it is really comfortable. The low centre of gravity makes it easy to ride at slow speeds, and the headlights are the best headlights I have ever had on a vehicle. The leg room is much better on this model than the C400X, as is the seat backrest. If you are over 6 feet tall, I recommend you get the 50mm higher windscreen, and it makes the wind protection even better and the best I have experienced.

The roads are decent where I live, and the off-roading capabilities of the scrambler doesn’t really matter since I’m still learning how to ride so I won’t be off-roading.

I didn't test drive them, but I sat on both in the showroom last week. I'm 6' tall and about 280 and the Speed felt a little compact, but the Scrambler (though more expensive here) had a much high seat and felt much more comfortable for me. I'm tossed between the Scrambler or the Royal Enfield 350 Hunter.

I’ve had two motorcycles since, a Royal Enfield and currently a Triumph. I’m considering going back to the C400GT. I only wish it had cruise control, that would complete the package a 100% imho.

Really nice to see this video. It was kinda an unfair release back in 2019. ( yeh know that virus thingy). As they released it we all went into lock down. But because of that I was able to pick up a peach 🍑 of a deal here in U.K. Got an ex BMW mechanic personal bike with 1000 miles for good price in triple Black. I have also had all kinds of bikes. Soortsbikes. Adv. Triumph Rocket 🚀. Harleys. And now at 52 the idea of twist and go is great. Im no little guy either 120kg 6 foot. But the bike takes me and my tiny Mrs 😂. I agree an extra 50cc or 100cc wouldn’t go amiss. But at 350cc you dont actually need more! I wonder if anyone has done aftermarket tuning on these. I personally prefer stock. There are Malossi parts you can get too. But yes great bike. The only 2 unfortunate things is under seat storage ( on the move). And that BMW charges £600 for a 30litre top box and kit. You can get Shad kits for pess than half that and bigger and better. So sadly that doesn’t make sense. But yes essentially you have a Kymco 350cc engine which has been around ages. I jump when I see ither C400GTs out and about. Ride safe. Greetings “sunny U.K. “
