What are your thoughts on being able to carry on the medium size? Was hoping the carry on size was a little bigger.
@SignedSojourner9 күн бұрын
Sadly it’s not going to work. I don’t know of any airline that would let you carry-on that bigger size. Medium and large sizes are strictly checked luggage.

IMO, the only downside of the roller is that Sterling Pacific did not keep the hinges from the 35L. I dislike how the top can't stay open. It flops around

I heard it's good for someone who's partner snores. Pair it with earplugs and white noise and it should help. So hoping this mask helps muffle the snores along with the plugs.

Great review! How does this work with noise blocking? Earplugs fall out, and my hope is that the noise cancelling remains on while it is on. I personally have no need for the music, but some noise blocking with this over the ears would be very helpful.

Good question, but I’ve got an unfortunate answer. This sleep mask isn’t designed with any noise cancellation. If you want to block out light and listen to music it’s great but you’ll still need earplugs to drown out the noise. Maybe try Loop earplugs they have a pretty good design for keeping them in the ears and can fit a different ear sizes.

How is this for front sleepers? I've heard it's not that good but what if you don't use a pillow as a front sleeper because that would kink your head back too much, could this be feasible?

I would go for the Manta Sleep Mask Pro instead. It’s not as bulky as this one is. Also I’m assuming while your front sleeping your head is to one side so you can breathe. So yeah the pro should definitely work.

Personally I just don't like how fabric or polycarbonate luggage ages. When fabric starts fraying and polycarbonate cracks it just looks bad in my opinion. Plus, getting away from zippers on luggage is great from a safety standpoint. With that said though, everyone has their own preference on what products they want to buy and what worth their hard earned money. It's nice that there are so many options out there as far as luggage goes.

@@SignedSojourner That’s the feature I like too, also the thinner cover. (it takes more space if you have to lay it flat & open) However for the excess weight, like Hermès Birkin, it seems more comfortable & practical when you travel with car. Yeah it’s definitely less comfortable than the pro version (Still really comfortable though). I still think the Pro is the way to go. I would argue wearing the top head strap is almost a necessity.

Great review, thank you. I have had a sleep mask before (different brand) which was great when I started using it, but the problem I had was that after repeated use the velcro where it attached at the back stretched too much and eventually it was too big to fit on my head properly. Do you think this would be a problem with Manta Sleep Mask?
@SignedSojourner6 ай бұрын
I don’t believe so. You have a lot of room to play with as far as where to Velcro too on this mask. If you have a really small head you’ll obviously have less room. I have been using the manta sleep mask pro for probably about 10 months now and haven’t noticed very much stretching in the fabric at all. I got a new version as well of the sleep mask pro and they are both the same length still. So no real noticeable stretch over time.

As an update to this video, Manta updated their Velcro across all their masks. I have the new version now and weak Velcro isn’t a problem anymore. Thanks Manta for listening

Not really no. The only place the four wheels was a bit inconvenient was in a super packed security area line with stop and go traffic. Be even then not a huge deal. It’s only a carry on so you can’t really pack it too be super heavy which helps.

I guess the $1,500 question is why buy this over a Rimowa case?
@SignedSojourner7 ай бұрын
That's a very good question! I haven't yet tested or felt a Rimowa yet. But for me personally I think the Sterling is a much better looking case than Rimowa's I've seen. I can't say for sure but just from materials used it seems like the Sterling is better built as well. For example, Rimowa's cabin bag handles and trolly handle are made of plastic and Sterlings side and top handles are full grain leather with its trolly handle being full aluminum wrapped in full grain leather. Rimowa's lining is made of polyester where as Sterlings is a ring spun twill weave fabric. I'm sure Rimowa makes a great product as well. Or else they'd be out of business haha. But that's the best answer I have for your question.
