I'm currently driving a BMW 1250 ADV. I'm thinking of buying a 1600 GTL. I am afraid of having problems in heavy traffic in the city due to its weight. Would you recommend it if you take into account your slow driving experiences?

Hello. I also have a 1250 GSA, they feel very different, the GSA is more nimble but taller, the k1600 is lower but heavier, you feel it especially in stand stop manouvers, just have to be more careful than in the GSA but you can drive perfectly in traffic. Have to be careful with the gap, on the GSA we have the boxer engine as a gap meter between cars, in the k1600 you don’t, the side cases go quite outside the fairings, have to be more careful passing between cars

@@joaoleal5736 Are the side bags of the K 1600 GTL removable? If so, I can use it without a side bag on my city rides. I think it will be no different from the 1250 ADV without the side bags. But the weight thing is still troublesome. I think a slight loss of balance during stopping can tilt me sideways.

@@halilbarssengul8123 the side cases are removable, it will make your life easier in traffic jam. The weight is heavier that the gsa but lower at the same time, just make shure that you don’t stop with the steering turned

@@Arturdomundo olá Artur, a condução da k1600 é diferente da Tiger, é uma mota mais pesada mais feita para autoestrada mas que também se conduz bem em estradas de montanha, com 1,87 metros de altura aconselho a adquirires o assento alto senão vai sentir dos joelhos ao fim de algum tempo

I’m almost ready to order my BMW IX1 edrive20. But I’m confused about the driving assistant options. At this point I understood that I will need the driving assistant and assistant plus to have all the options I need/want. But there is also the driving assistant professional option. Can you explain the difference? I read the brochure ten times but the terms and wording are a little confusing to me. Only if needed I will spent the extra amount of money. For example the auto lane change is an option that is not important for me to have. Is pro needed for handsfree driving? I hope you are able too explain this to me. Thank you in advance.

Basically the driving assistant plus keeps the car in lane, controls the distance and you have to touch the steering every 7 seconds. The driving assistant professional can make overtake and has the camera pointed to your eyes to make shure that you keep the eyes on the road, because of these additional feature you don’t need to touch the steering every 7 seconds. I try both systems, for me the price difference doesn’t worth the adicional overtaking feature of the professional, I think the plus is more than enough

I have a question: is it possible to put one finger on the steering wheel permanently and the car stays in the middle of street or drives the car only automaticaly when you have no hand or finger on the steering wheel? Thanks and nice Video!😊

Wen you turn on the assist driving the car keeps the lane and the speed, you only have to touch the steering every 7 seconds, if you leave one finger on the steering making weight, you never need to rearm every 7 seconds. I think there is some part on the eBay in you put it on the steering, simulates the weight and you don’t need to rearm, but i never try it

@@j.kachele9644BMW’s don’t use resistance on the wheel, they are capacitive so they rely on your electrical energy from your finger. Yes you can just keep a light touch on the wheel and it will continue for as long as you have your touch on the wheel.

My BMW has the driving assistant plus, but I though you can use it in traffic jams only, here we see you are using it as an automatic driving mode. Other thing is that my car does not show the icon "driving assistant plus" in the driving mode menu......only speed limit, distant limit and driving mode, ..... strange.
