Very interesting. If I can get 6 uninterrupted hours I feel so good the next day. Sadly, my bladder has other plans.

Try not to drink anything at least 2 hours before bed... 3/4 hours is best

Dated info now; it’s rather 9-10 hours, especially for children, adolescents, and those with autoimmunity challenge factors.

I think her targeted audience here was investment bankers and their professional/technical ilk and so hopefully those who have completed the juvenile to adult developmental processes and have yet to proceed towards cumulative decline and so 6-8 hours of hygienic sleep might be acceptably the norm.

Outstanding research by Dr Swart. In my field of Early Child Development it is vital that parents create a good sleep and bedtime routine for the whole family and not just the kids which will benefit the whole family's physical, emotional and social wellbeing. In my opinion, we as parents should always examine sleeping habits first when a new health or behavioral issue appears. If you are interested in Parenting and Early Childhood Development topics and articles visit us at www.keedzi.com
