My daughter and I made cookies last Sunday. Not one cutout, not my thing. We did make 6 different kind of cookies. Meringue, cookies, lemon cookies, pistachio cookies, thumbprint cookies, eggnog cookies (tastes nothing like eggnog thankfully) and giant Reeses peanut butter cup cookies. I'm not sure which one is best.

Great haul. Always love when you think you order one thing and you get something else. Happened to me on my Wal-Mart haul a week ago, but it was their error. I didn't exchange it cause it was not a big deal.

My number 1 favorite Halloween movie is The Thing (1982) directed by John Carpenter because I watched this movie on TV as kid in the 1990s and The Thing (1982) scared me and disturbed me a lot more than any other Halloween movie ever created and the events of this Halloween movie takes place in Antarctica the coldest continent on the planet Earth and this movie is an all male cast and what all of these grown men are up against is the ultimate stuff of nightmares they don't even give this monster a name so that's why it's called The Thing (1982) and this Halloween movie is all about fear and paranoia and this Halloween movie has the best trust issues out of every other movie and TV show ever created as well:).

This is indeed very heartwarming and very wonderful and very beautiful and very adorable and this brings back such great memories of when I use to be a 90s kid and an early 2000s kid and I am a new subscriber as well:).

Years ago when I was newly divorced and a single parent of 3, I utilized my local food pantry. Now that my children are all grown and I am able, I donate to my food pantry. If fact others from my family have joined in. I have also asked what foods are needed. The big need was canned soup and pepper. We also donate excess garden produce in season. I have noticed that they have birthday kits also🎉. I hope you had a fabulous birthday. 🎂

I saved the recipe - will try this sometime soon. We have several jars of peanut butter. Have a couple kinds of pasta and i bought mixed veggies last time at the dollar stre. Also have polish sausage. So that will be on the menu soon.

What fun groceries. Wish we had a Trader Joe's near us.

Not quite into Christmas shopping yet, but I dont have young kids anymore. I do love the lights and snow globes as long as they do not flash. I'm going to have to get my lights out and brighten up the house.

Hi there! This the first video I've seen of yours and I love seeing you in the early days of becoming an urban homesteader! I'm a step behind you because I just picked up some canning supplies the last few weeks so hopefully I'll follow your footsteps soon. I'm no expert but just wanted to note, beans are a low acid food from what I've seen so they have to be pressure canned (not water bath canned) which heats them beyond boiling so they are safe. Your beans on the shelf look absolutely great! But you might want to toss them to make sure no one gets sick especially for the kiddos :(
