Word on the street is that Laban took the fall for a gun found in a car with Tosh,. Tosh apparently promised to take care of him after he came out of prison but did not do so. Laban was was upset and took revenge by killing Tosh September 11.

• Dennis Brown was more popular AND instrumental for his reggae contributions. Very popular in all genres of music. U may describe his music as "fanciful" he didn't grow up in the "hub hub" of childhood friends of the great rasta legendary reggae artists HOWEVER Dennis Brown tunes are still regarded as reggae classics & being at the helm of Lovers Rock. I salute Dennis Brown's version of Bob Marley's classic Natural Mystic.

My comment is that this super cat is my artist , but how I heard of this argument is like Natty gritty gets violated over his own right, and if Natty Gritty was my family or best friend I will want to take revenge for Natty Gritty. However, my Artist Super Cat have to still watch himself because all when it's 100 years, this doesn't finish.

You certainly have a whole bunch of Johnny-Come-Lately for child star. Do you want to know foundation child star-----Freddie McGregor, Delroy Wilson, Ziggy & Steve Marley, Cocoa Tea, Jacob Miller, Dennis Brown, Errol Dunkley, Damian Marley, Yashemabeth McGregor, Lady Ann, Junior Tucker, Nadine Sutherland, Millie Small--take those and run with it. You sound rather young in the business--still have the breast milk on your breath. Come again better this time!!!!

Mr. Osbourne Ruddock is the most influential personality in music to come out of Jamaica,no sir not Bob Marley,Tubby's first then Bob Marley. Everywhere in modern music except Jazz, Country music and some others like Orchestral music. Tubby's is the only person to influence Sony Entertainment, to put Reggae rhythms on their electronic organs, sound simple but it was a profound and watershed moment. He introduced the practice of putting emphasis and effects on snare drums on the second or fourth beat heard in all pop music today. There are schools around the world dedicated to teaching the studio engineering practice of Tubby's. Jamaicans don't know how influential Tubby's was even after his death.

Many of these deaths were surrounded by the ignorance of the perpetrators. I have always believed that Jamaica is where you find some of the most talented and intelligent black people in the Caribbean, but right next to it is where you find the most ignorance or ignorant folks--You take a close look at it, you will see that regardless of the high level of poverty in Jaimaca, the violence there is surrounded by ignorance it does not take much to trigger their dark side
