Every road resurfacing company worldwide should use this product. I think it is a genius invention. 👍

No way that actually stops the problem saying cracks form from the bottom, but it's definitely a bit better than just pouring a patch. The reason everything breaks is you have all these "contractors" using the cheapest garbage cold road fillers
@KING-FU Жыл бұрын
I remember Road Runner utilizing something like this on a bridge for Wile E. Coyote, just without the cold patch. 😂
@LaFox23 Жыл бұрын
Don’t care what you think that thing will delaminate in a year and that cold patch underneath will turn into gravel. Cut the pavement and do it right.

I have a group of potholes near me that got worse in flooding a year ago. It at an intersection that marks the boundary entering the newly crowned premiers electorate. Vicroads patched the road probably 10 times before finally coming up with a solution several months ago. There is now 3 "rough surface" signs marking the approach to this chewed up mess. I thought of this massive mess when I saw the video.

It's just another band aid solution and not the greatest one at that. Pothole Terminator seems like it would be a far better product. And a great way to reuse old tires.
@thenameidk31683 жыл бұрын
That's only for huge holes how many tire sized holes in the road?
@axelfoley14063 жыл бұрын
It's a great idea. However, states like Michigan plow so hard, they damages areas that already have uneven pavement. I doubt the edge of the patch would stand up to that force.... Can anyone provide pictures of how it looks after the winter season?
@BGTech12 жыл бұрын
I’m from mi too. It would be gone in the spring. No where to be seen

Michigan spends less money per person on road repair than any of the states surrounding it. Even Virginia and Alabama spend more.
@WritingFighter Жыл бұрын
The road patch isn't a replacement for already conventional methods of fixing and filling pot holes; it's on top of them. I'm also assuming it's not meant to stay on as a literal adhesive, but partially glue bond to the filler mix. But if a snow plow comes by and scrapes it off, the original pot hole mix is still there and it wouldn't be any different from what's currently in use. The patch just seals the pothole repair work to prevent the elements from getting in and undoing the fix or making it worse.
@chasam12343 жыл бұрын
Fastpatch is far more effective as it uses a primer for the shit to bond to....

Realize this probably isn't too much of a problem in Alabama, but in climates where there's significant snow, would road crews scrape that stuff right off the road when they're clearing snow?
@williamstadelmann16433 жыл бұрын
Probably not. Plows usually allow a bit of tolerance between the plow and pavement to avoid damage on the road and vehicle. Not for certain tho
