I have a question: If anyone just happens to know, I was told that even if you do not have your permit that as long as the pastor of that church gives you written permission to carry that you can say if you were working for security for that church ? I can not find anything in Florida laws that says you can.Thanks for your help!

Pushing thumbs forward, WRONG. I do all sorts of wrapped thumb grips, I will show my targets to prove thumbs forward is a fad. LOL, all those other grips that actually add power to the grip....thumbs forward allows the gun to recoil up with zero non dominant hand control. It's azz-backwards and dumb that people keep pushing it when it doesn't do anything.

I am not blaming the messenger here and is keeping us informed but this permitless carry is not gift from Gov. DeSantis and our state government. It is ridiculous from top to bottom to only benefit Florida lawyers so they can increase their wallets on figuring out how to pump money out of clients that have broken part of this concealed carry law by accidentally printing or bending over and accidentally showing their weapon. There are so many trap doors in this law that cannot be figured out by the common man on purpose so he has to hire a lawyer that might now keep him out of jail. Then there is the open carry part where you can open carry, yes it is in this law that you can open carry when going fishing, hunting or going to a shooting range. Unfortunately, law enforcement in Florida sees open carry illegal all the time, period. Either law enforcement wants to view it that way or they are ignorant of how this law is written. Legally, I can go fishing on a pier, bank or on my boat and open carry but I could still be arrested, hire a lawyer, and be found not guilty but exercising my right could cost me thousands and thousands of dollars and many trips to the courthouse. The Constitution states in Amendment II that "the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be INFRINGED!!!! Look at all the exceptions that our Legislature has put in place and the bad judgments that courts and corrupt judges put on here to limit our Constitutional Rights. We should also be able to open carry as per the Constitution and really, our state government gave us a faux law to make us think they are protecting our rights but the limitations make it risky for permitless carry. It is like trying to do recreational shrimping in Florida in which the state says we can but laws governing shrimping make it almost impossible for the average man to catch shrimp for his family. The bottom line is that Florida is not a free state and rivals California on severely limiting the average man's rights.

Great video. Almost cut my thumbs open first time shooting a revolver due to that cylinder gap. I bought an Alfa Project 22lr and it's my favorite hand gun to shoot. In fact I liked it so much I bought the 9mm (with moon clips) version as soon as I saw it in the used gun section at my local range. I hear Taurus makes good products too. Hoping to get myself a Kimber target revolver one day.

I had pistol sniper training in the Dutch army. Operate the trigger between espiration and inhalation. (Garmin sports watches have a nice workout for that) Furthermore, my sergeant always said "you have to be scared by your own shot" Or as John indeed says, slowly increase the pressure on the trigger.

Never understood why they called Florida the "Gunshine" state. So many stupid anti gun laws. I imagine that permission slip being vacated hurt the pockets of instructors lol. People in Tennessee battled to get constitutional carry and the state I grew up in as well because instructors and sheriffs, along with state police fought against it. They made too much money off of your 2A being trampled.

But you can drive by a school zone and you are felon. Whao.

have a 10 round 40 mag and 10th round is a royal pain and the slide will not move freely to rack it. not sure if it is because it is new or maybe the spring in the stupid compliant crap is created to piss us off.

We no longer need a CCW permit in Georgia but I still keep my concealed carry permit valid.

1hr ,100 rd once a month . I also record myself shooting to see my hand placement . I also shoot 10 yards laser shooting and iron sight . 5 round per mag

you said "line drill, this drill, that drill..." what are some of these drills you speak of/recommend? I've been following your advice and printing up (on regular copy paper) 8" circles, 5" circles, 2x4" circles, and putting 3, 4 or 5 rounds max in the mag at a time. It's been very helpful. But I'm always on the lookout for good new drills (with the understanding that I'm at an indoor range where we can't rapid fire, can't draw from a holster, can't shoot at multiple targets across lanes etc). Needing training to exercise their individual rights is not consistent with the Constitution. Individuals can and do teach themselves. I am an instructor and I teach hundreds of people every year. They decide they want training, there is no state requirement. We don’t have any laws requiring training and we don’t have crazy issues with concealed or open carry.
