@@KaitiakiEnduranceSports it’s the same medal! I had a DNF at Surf Coast last year, so this was never going to be a DNF, short of something breaking. Your video captured the change in Millar 1 and 2! I loved the scouts, but the change to the rugby team and some serious dance music was so funny. And Redwood with the colours. Such an awesome event. Next year is taken for me, but 2026, back for more I think.
@georgelane63506 ай бұрын
Cool video! Judging from the rough times I could figure out on your video, I think I passed you some where on the out and back on the far side of Millar. It was a brutal section! Especially going through Millar about 1.30pm in the worst heat. Hope your recovery is going well.
@KaitiakiEnduranceSports6 ай бұрын
Thanks George! It’s possible, I think most of the field would’ve passed each other on the Millar-Okataina Expressway. We saw Dan Jones fly past us so fair to say you were somewhere between the two of us! 😅 Pretty good, hope your recovery is going well too and make sure you say hi at the next event.
@cejay675 ай бұрын
Millar and back was probably the hardest but best part. I will always remember that climb. ‘Only’ 2600m of elevation but all in one section it felt! Seeing so many people, was epic.
