I mean he’s pushing to 3k and it’s accelerating pretty quickly, the 1.8l in the civic just doesn’t have much power at low revs.

Just purchased one of these (pre-owned), and I couldn't be happier. It will never be confused with a 500 Abarth, but it's not supposed to be. I have the 2.4L with the 9-speed gearbox, and while it's not the most lively car I've ever driven, it's not as bad as many make it out to be. It's just a lovely car. If you want to drive like Jeremy Clarkson, go get something else--but if you want an attractive, nimble, and surprisingly well put together little crossover, this is it. (Note: My example had 42k miles, not a scratch on the paint or a spot on the seats. It was used by a wealthy family as a car for their nanny. Talk about a lucky find!) Forza FIat!

Ev's actually go dead faster on highways. You want to use them in city environments for best results. Ditto if it has regenerative braking.

I guess what I'm asking is, can it go from automatic to stick shift or does it have to be shifted?? Because when I pull out onto the hwy it revs up really high like I'm suppose to be changing gears??? Help?

Very nice car! (And used prices are indeed excellent, even with low miles, one owner, etc). Its Achilles Heel is that it does not offer DC fast charging in any model year except the current one (which is only available in Europe) and the battery capacity never improved (again, until this year). But if you don't need a lot of range and/or you have a second car for long ranges, this might be the one for you. Check cargurus.com or carvana.com or carfax.com for LOTS of examples of the Fiat 500e.

@@ach6973 Good Morning. From £20 of fuel i usually get 118 miles. Phone connects as soon as i get in the car and start it. Speaker quality is excellent. as is the sat nav. I've always owned Bmws and Audis but this beats them both hands down. Just do your homework and wait till you find the car you want. You won't be Disappointed.👍

It's safe to call this a reliable car. It typically gets 150,000+ miles by simply keeping up with oil changes, and other wear and tear items like tires and brakes. It's at least on par or better than a Camry.

Overpriced for just leather interior, and 1" suspension lift and slightly upgraded shocks... get a TRD offroad package for about 6k less with all the mechanical bits... you are going to upgrade tires, and suspension later anyways....
