how it may/may not be accurate (or "over the top") in history, barbarism and tribal/clan glory was nonetheless unwatchable brutality. The cinema work here is excellent, and the scene itself can give an idea of what raiding must have been like, for warriors and the invaded people. It's even more crazy to imagine that things like this have happened for centuries-and also, around the world. I can gladly say i'm happen to have been born in this century.
