Picking up 12bh this week! Excited! Any compaints with slideout awnings? Does ac with 110 plug adaptor?
@bearandfoxden9 күн бұрын
The awnings are fine. Nothing special. Watch out for lots of wind. Also you may want to locktight the bolts in place on the ends of the supports. They will fall out or into the tube and then the real wor begins. A/c works with 110 plug on a generator or shore power.

Good afternoon. Hope everything is good. I've noticed that you are using gmc canyon to pull your rog. I just want to know if you can feel the trailer when pulling especially when it's loaded? And how's the fuel consumption when plain driving and when pulling your rog. Will you consider a full size truck if you can? Thanks a lot. Dino
@bearandfoxden4 ай бұрын
You know I have been really pleased with my truck. About the only time I notice the weight fully loaded is trying to maintain 80 going up steep grades on the freeway. Regular highway, town and mountain roads are no problem at all. I'm not looking for a bigger truck at all. This fits all my needs and the shorter wheel base and lighter weight fit more places.

As this video is a year old, hoping you will see this...I've been looking at this unit and was wondering if you've had any issues/annoyances with the mattress blocking the battery shutoff/driver-side porch light switch/intake vent? Thanks!
@bearandfoxden4 ай бұрын
We really haven't had any issues. The one thing is that with the CO alarm being next to the bed, I have accidentally pushed the test button a couple of times. It's loud! Everything else works well. I will be doing a walk through on the trailer and getting it ready to go play I a couple of months. You will see a couple of things we have done to make it work for us.

I looked at the standard ROG. I really, really liked it, well designed and well equipped. Unfortunatley I had a terrible dealer who wanted to screw me on the price and financing ($1000 more if I paid cash). My only concern, besides a no name brand awning that didnt get good reviews, was its a brand new company and this is the first model year. Ended up in a Tag.

Couple of questions What is the ball hitch height (level) What is the minimum ground clearance on the ROG. Do the 110 jacks, AC, Microwave only work on shore power or off generator or is there an inverter? No water heater, correct? Thanks in advance, enjoyed the video
@bearandfoxden Жыл бұрын
Do my best to give you some good answers. The min clearance is 18 inches which is the entire underside of the trailer so if it is level then the hitch would also be at about 18 inches. The 110 is only on shore power or generator as it comes from the factory. However you can outfit the trailer with extra batteries and inverters to run these ports. No water heater from factory but i am positive you could install one if you really needed it. Hope this helps!
@hayatojohnson3440 Жыл бұрын
Question on the water port is that water heated or could it be heated for showering? Or is it only the rear sink thats heated ? Been looking at these campers a lot lately and the only thing my lady requires is a shower, whether it be inside or out but needs warms water capability. I’m looking for a camper with factory showers so I don’t have to custom make and screw up a nice trailer.
@bearandfoxden Жыл бұрын
Thanks for the view and question. To that, it doesn't come with heated water. The water port works well to spray off gear or as a shower but it is just cold water. I believe you could have it retro-fit for an on-demand water heater that would just fit under the sink. But it would also take more LP or more juice off the power system.

i appreciate you posting some rog vids! i went and looked at a rog this weekend. i thought it would be nice if that kitchen slid out. seems like you'd be crouching over alot when using the stove and sink. mostly i wish they offered a "blank kitchen" option. just load that area with shelves and cabinets, and maybe pullout for a fridge/cooler. i mean, i'll never use a microwave or a fridge. and i'd prefer to use my partner stove outside of the trailer rather than hunching over to use a built-in cooktop. looking forward to more videos from you!
