Sometimes we get into a relationship, knowing it's unhealthy, but we do it anyway. We r mature in age, but we disregard our self esteem, and emotional stability. We care about the other person , even if he or she ignores us. We may allow that person to show up, only to disappear again. The best thing to do, is not talk to the person again.

I have a coworker (supposedly a friend) who I asked for her help on trying to find a specific component that I needed for the start of the shift AND during mid-shift. She refused to help me. I asked her, 'Why didn't you help me?' Her answer, 'Nobody helps each other in our line.' I totally lost trust on her and yes I was upset and disappointed hearing that from her in person. I know it will be the beginning of the end of our 5 month friendly relationship with her because it will never be the same like before.

This is very helpful..learning to let go of one’s who don’t respect you anymore…even though you’ve tried to resolve things ..so to protect yourself you have to move on and not dwell on it…Thank you for this…its really helps me to remember this…

Leaving is a choice, not giving respect is another. There are 2 sides to every story, both can take the blame. 18 years is a long stint to walk away from with indifference from just one side.
