100% same feelings about this game. I quit and never went back after only finding two of the nine pieces I needed. Still got the platinum! Finishing game not required for all trophies lol.

i've heard this game gives only 8fps on high settings.. is that true??

The controls definitely take some time to get used to but when you do and start to use dash and high jump effectively the game starts to feel a lot better. Antonball game mode is still not a joke but at least you can skip to the world you are stuck on so no need to start at the very beginning

Fun fact about the ride shown at the 2:00 mark of your video. It is a Huss "Giant Jumping Machine" There is only ONE that has ever been put into operation in the world, it is at Canada's Wonderland and called Sledge Hammer. If you EVER find yourself in Toronto or it's surrounding areas, the park is located in Vaughan, about 30 mins north of Highway 401, and has one of the best flat ride collections in north america. On top of that, it does have three world class roller coasters, as well as a collection of medium to terrible ones (I personally love The Fly, and Backlot Stunt Coaster, but Leviathan, Behemoth and Yukon Striker are top tier coasters).

You know, I appreciate the honesty in this review and looking at it, despite the jank, it's almost enough to make me want to buy a copy - especially since it looks like they've permanently brought the price down to $10 USD. And I mean, I really appreciate a team that can stand behind a product that's kind of not quite that great. It reminds me of gaming in the 90s where you'd just have to play whatever no matter what because it was all you had available. And sure, now we're spoiled for choice but this definitely sounds like a throwback to that era of Skunny Kart where you just sucked it up, you played it and developed nostalgia for it because it was all your parents would buy you.

So in resent news in there discord the game is going free to play and they are updating the unreal engine from 4.23 to 4.25 and they have some pictures of new character models anyway its looking awsome and more

geneforge 5 will always be better, this game doesn't even have AI for creations anymore so you have to manually control everything

For stories in metal, check out albums from King Diamond. Even if the music isn't for you, read the lyrics online and enjoy some stories. Songs are like chapters except Fatal Portrait & Spider's Lullaby (they have a story, it's just not the entire album). The most popular is Abigail (the first one) and Them followed up with Conspiracy (a part1 and part 2). Abigail II: The Revenge is a much later revisit that's a let down for many, myself included. One of the albums many people hated but some liked a lot, I love it, and sounds a quite different than the others is The Graveyard (deals with revenge on child abusing Mayor and claimed another was doing it).

I searched for vids on this game just to see if this game was... well, exactly what you complain about. This guys newest game looked really promising but I rage quit because of these exact same issues (as well as some more ones caused by the glitchy vhs found footage thing in it.)
