Probably should have put that in there but I don't remember exactly. I'd say around 3-4 hours perhaps a little more. I'll put them in around 2 or so and they were ready around 6.

It all depends on how long you smoke it for. I think I used 2 or 3 cupfuls of the pellets throughout the process. And yes, it had a wonderful smoked flavor ;)

Do you live in the Rain Forest, what are the noises in the background? Also you can use a heavy duty appliance extension cord, it's crazy how short they make the cords now.
@OldSchoolCookingAZ8 ай бұрын
LOL that's actually a little sound machine that makes bird noises. It kept my pet cockatiel calm and from screeching when he didn't think he was getting enough attention. We used it quite a bit and I actually forgot it was on since we were so used to it. No extension cord, we just had to move it to where we could reach the outlet on the side of the counter. I agree, it's goofy how short they make the cords.

The grill is designed to protect the heating element from getting grease on it. Easy to see by looking at the bottom of the grill.

I just used the air fryer function for the second time. The first try was soft boiled eggs which was a complete fail, even after cooking them twice as long as the recipe said. But, I’ve never tried that before even in my old air fryer, so can’t hold it against it. But, tonight was frozen chicken patties. It takes twice the amount of time my old traditional type of air fryer did. Which is disappointing, but not something I can’t get used to eventually. I’m an air fryer addict. My old one was amazing and I cooked just about everything in it. So I’m hoping the longer cook time is the only problem I’m going to have with mine. It kind of takes away from some of the convenience of an air fryer, for sure, though. As long as the taste is the same I’ll be ok with this.

I think the grease is meant to hit the coil because of the catch tray below it. The bbq grill with holes is meant for oil to pass through. I’m curious about the dehydrator though.
