Yeah you're probably right, my thought process during the game was that their AP champs weren't doing so well and they had double crit so I went randuin's. After that I should've gone FON over sterak's though probably.

Too bad your ult has to execute for the fear. A good penta is great for demoralizing the enemy team, though you did all the heavy lifting there so kha kinda denied a penta there.

I like that secondary setup more when I go PTA, cause with phase rush and everything else you already have plenty of speed.

I think it can be ran every game yeah, I still think PTA works in a lot of matchups, I'm still testing things out, but I'm feeling like PTA is better against champs where you really need the damage to burst them, like gwen, camille, warwick for example I didn't love phase rush into those so far.

I could see that, honestly a decent chunk of lanes become like this for Urgot at a certain elo which kind of sucks. But scaling into mid game is still fun.

Urgot stacks it very fast, and it amps your shotgun passive damage which is huge mid game and where most of your damage comes from, and with this new phase rush tech it's very easy to proc your shotgun passives with the speed boost.

@Goliath Honest question - With Phase Rush becoming optimal but weak early. Is running Doran's Shield more of a realistic option? Just play completely safe, scaling urgot with the aim of coming fully online mid game? I used to only play D shield in oppressive counter lanes with heavy poke, but if I'm "punting" early with phase should I just be extra careful. Would love to hear your input. Appreciate your content either way! (Tetrachroma)

I think D shield would still be alright vs harder counters, but I think phase rush keeps you so safe you kind of want to get damage so you have a bit of a chance to win, especially lvls 1-3. Once you have d blade, long sword, and pickaxe you're decently strong too.

hmmm I do think this build gets better in higher elos because it gets so hard to win lane with Urgot even if you go PTA, people just respect so much. I would say if PTA is working out for you and you're winning lane then stick with that until the games start to get harder for you. I do think this build can still work in lower elos but it is just a bit slower to come online.

i cant feel any difference with this build.AP champs doesnt feel nerfed at all.They should nerf them alot,Its not fair.Urgot is so wwak after the changes

I'm really liking jak'sho>force of nature into AP champs, I do agree they're OP though. If they're really fed early/mid game you can skip out on going bloodmail third and just go straight into jak'sho/fon combo and it helps a lot.
