Yeah i have no friends 😂 so was a solo ride so took it a bit easy. The speed at the end of swooper you can get is mental, however is rougher than it was last year so even more sketchier to do it now.

Don't be put off from buying from them. I had a bad experience yes, others have had good experiences, and in all fairness i bought a vitus nucleus vrs and it arrived properly packaged and in perfect working order. I also bought my e-bike nearly 2 years ago now so i've added plenty more scratches/war wounds to it 😂

Mate... your responding to a near 2 year old video. It was nothing to do with the couriers, not sure about the curriers, might of had a vindaloo. People like you with your brand loyalty love to blame the couriers for everything, i get it, honestly i do. But the facts are very simple. To have been cosmetically damaged like that would of needed an impact. Now this is where i don't understand you. The box, and the foam wrapping where the damage is, was undamaged, not even marked. It was also very well wrapped in the place of most of the damage around the downtube. If there had been an impact big enough to damage the box and go through the wrapping, i'd be looking at a damaged frame, not just paint. I expect the bike was leant up against something, and slipped during the pre post check, the way the paint is damaged shows this. Now the most likely underpaid employee of your fav brand probably didn't check/care for the damage, wrapped it up and sent it out, you can tell this as there very little care for the cables hence them pulled out which was all under the wrapping. I still use CRC, they are good vast majority of the time. However, with bikes, i wouldn't put them as great. My escarpe in 2011 came with an unbled rear brake, and my recent nucleus vrs came with an unadjusted rear mech, despite check sheet saying this had been done, i'm assuming you would still blame the courier in this case? And yes i am an expert in transit damage, i work in logistics for white and brown goods. Very little is done by couriers, it's actually quite hard for a courier to damage a big item, they usually look after themselves. Small items, do get transit damaged regularly, it happens. Your just thinking the products journey starts and ends with the couriers, it doesn't, starts several thousand miles away. Even if you still want to blame the couriers, CRC still have a big portion of the blame due to poor packaging, couriers can't do much about that. You package to prevent transit damage, that is the entire point of packaging. My £500 nucleus came much better packaged than my £4k e-bike by a big margin. And my regular bike by Bird came even better packed than both of them put together.

Hi thanks, it was dissapointing, especially as the bike rides so well too, if it was in the condition it should have arrived in that would of been the icing on the cake! I've found CRC pretty good with smaller items, and my first Vitus i bought nearly 12 years ago was great. I have recently bought another Vitus bike but more info about that soon on my channel!

Yeah, i decided with the hassle of sending it back just to keep it, as it's only cosmetic and doesn't affect the way it rides, just annoying. But yes it's a great bike to ride.

Thanks, most of the vids i've seen of this track have been full speed runs. But i do wish i put some shots of the terrain up to show how steep and tech it really is. I recommend anyone going to DYFI to give racetrack a try, i almost didn't, but glad i did, as it gave me something to aim for when building up my skills and confidence.

@@edfirth515 I don't know who/what widge is im afraid. I use Davinci resolve to edit, though requires a lot of learning, but it's a free piece of software.

I mainly buy spares from them, first time in over a decade in buying a bike from them. Though only ever had one issue when buying parts and i've bought many times of them!

Glad yours is perfect, just how it should be. My first Vitus about 12 years ago arrived perfect, shame this one wasn't 😞 Still it's a great bike to ride!

Think it's more the Vitus brand, and possibly Vitus themselves, see alot of complaints for them but not other brands CRC sell since i got mine.

Some parts were easier than in some vids i've seen, but others made the parts i found difficult look easy 😂

We try to go when we can, work depending so yes will be there more, but at 3 hr drive it's a monthly thing for wales and we like to go to the other parks aswell.

I agree with you, no brand is perfect, however after being on the vitus FB page and other various brand groups, it happens a hell of a lot for just one brand. Shame really as the bikes spec and ride qualitys are great.

in case you didn't notice, this was 11 months ago... think i've chilled out since then 😂 And no their warranty department is awfull, basically wanted to fob me off with vouchers and to pay my lbs to repair, rather than get a new spray job done on it and repair it themselves.

@@rickiclarke8154 fair enough… CRC have been spot on with our crowd… who all have E Sommets. No complaints! There have been multiple warranty claims for various bikes / parts over the years with nay issue.

@@WhoisD.O.U.G i've had a mixed reaction, some good experiences and some bad. I used to have a really good experience with them from about 2010/11 when i bought my first vitus from them, and used them for various bits and pieces up to 2019. Then i started getting £100's of bike gear left on my doorstep when they delivered next day despite me not choosing it, or i've had faulty products come through which should have been weeded out. The bike was the last straw from me. They are now my last resort place to go, although usually out of stock of most important stuff!
