Watched your Corvette power top video from 5yrs.ago. Really nice job, enjoyed it. This from the guy you worked with in the CC Ford-Mercury body shop for many years.

Hello! Great video. Do you have contact information where I could call or write you? I followed your bleeding process on a 57 chevy convertible, but one cylinder is faster than the other one. Im using an original pump with brand new cylinders and new hoses. I can’t figure out the problem.

Did you figure it out? I'm having the same problem. Cycled them like 50 times.

I have a restored 58 with a power top.It was working fine until today. when you push the switch forward you hear the motor but the cover is not moving. If I manually open the cover then push the switch forward (hoping the top would come out) the cover closes. I've only had the car for 8 months and put the top up twice with no problem. Can you advise me what to do?

I recently purchased a 62 with a power top. How many were made that year? All the components were rebuilt/replaced by the previous owner but I haven't tried it yet. I'm still putting the car together and that will be the last item for sure.

This is a great introductory video showing an overview of the power top components and operation. It should be helpful to anyone who has a 1956-1962, factory equipped, power top Corvette, as most of them haven't been operable for many years. At a car show, a crowd of people will always gather to watch an early Corvette power top in operation, so many owners of formerly equipped power top cars may be interested in getting their power tops into operating condition.

I have a 1961 fully restored with a power top and power windows. The power top valves seem to be the biggest challenge to successful repair.
