Yes that is true. This one has electric connection to ACC/ABS unit but throttle valve movement comes via wire from gas pedal, newer one has an electric gas pedal. -TU throttle body has some electric components sealed inside which I first thought was bad but just cleaning all mechanical parts in that area helped, they were seemingly dirty. Engine light and limb mode was gone but idle was near 2000 rpm after porting and in test drive the car was flying! it felt that there was much more power in acceleration and gas pedal response was immediate action with smile! Needed to do factory reset for ECU because the idle never settled down without it. Fix was good, never had this problem again and I still have this car.

How many percent on the throttle flap opening angle..some says max is 82% and i try adjust on my car it's true only 82%++ but in Pelican Parts says need to adjust wot to 100% hit the kickdown switch to the floor. I take out the kickdown switch and floor down the pedal but in the scanner still show 82%++ not even closer to 85% nor 100%

I donno, mine is manual transmission. The only way to go, 100% open always when floored.😊 Christmas present vid coming up on 24.12: Asc deleted on icy winter road among normal traffic, video is shot already week ago. 1-3 gears full throttle powerslides included. Stay tuned!
