I have done in the many thousands of loaded carries. The biggest mistake people make with them is distance is king. Short distances with maximum loading doesn't give you the same results as modest to moderate loading and going for great distances. *Yesterday, I did 20 lbs x 2 for 4 full laps in the sand the distance of a football field.* That vs 300 lbs for a few dozen feet x 4 produces exponentially superior results. Because of the motion involved, maximum loading doesn't produce the time under tension you think it will and you're mostly just wearing your body out and reducing performance before other lifts and movements you may have planned. The day before yesterday, I did 62 lbs x 2 for a full football field lap in the sand after doing 20 lbs x 2 for a full lap. That 62 lbs x 2 will do *far* more for me than had I done 300lbs with a farmer's frame for 150 feet. *The 300 lbs would just beat the shit out of my body above all else and not in a way that's beneficial.*

I noticed him really working the stretch on the eccentric then I saw Renaissance Periodization tagged in the video. Dr. Mike is everywhere! I also dig just two sets and lots of variations.

It seems to have given me an edge in shedding some weight, down about 1.5 lbs/week over the past three weeks so far. Remember that no weight loss supplements are a silver bullet. You should use this in conjunction with a healthy diet and exercise if you want the best results.

I use this a lot, though the heavier it goes the more you tend feel it in the chest/shoulders, which is normal since the larger muscles kick in. To focus this on triceps (and away from shoulders) is a matter of not dropping elbows below the sides - as Blakely showed in his J.M. press, though in that the elbows are much higher. Once they drop pretty much the first 3rd of the concentric is all chest, then the shoulders and the last 3rd going to lockout is more triceps. As a powerlifting accessory I always did C.G. bench as a floor press (sometimes on a pad) and this made it much more triceps-focused. I'm not trying to contradict you, just outlining my own experience with it.

U need to improve your deadlift form a little. Also if you did that bench in a comp u will get 3 red lights. Squat was nice tho!

10lb is a great starting point. It may not seem like a lot, but a mace will humble you in ways you never imagined.
