Not really bro - pretty shit card. Holland to beat Daukus on the basis that although Holland is prone to takedowns and Daukus gets them, when Daukus gets them, he still loses, and Holland has the BJJ to mitigate Daukus' impact on the ground. Walker vs Santos is difficult to say because Santos is by far the better fighter but his knees are shot and we saw how that impacted his last outing. The rest of the card isn't interesting enough to consider :-/ apart from Oliveira vs Price but that'll be a stand up battle that could go either way. What are you thinking? Best, Andrew

@@babayaga-kr9dq Just checkd the odds and I'll put a small bet on a Walker finish at 15/8 on the basis of Santos being over the hill, as you say. But it's speculative. Remember how Santos koed Blachowicz going backwards? That's some real shit. My concern with Walker is that he's wild and random, and any elite fighter will counter him easily. His style is very high risk/reward.

I don't know much about him other than he's a Cage Warriors champ with a great BJJ game and limited striking. UFC is hyping this guy hard (too hard IMO) - tempted to fade him but need to research his opponent. I've had wrestling privates from one of his team mates and they're very grapple/wrestle heavy, at least for Brits. I feel like he'll have problems with anybody with takedown defense and submission defense and half decent striking. Let me research this tomorrow and I'll let you know.

This is a weird one. Both are good BJJ guys (Pimblett is very good) and both have poor striking. Vendramini has his moments when he blitzes forward but he typically doesn't really throw much. Paddy throws a lot but he never does any damage and gets countered constantly. Vendramini definitely the better striker but that's irrelevant if he doesn't use it. So it comes it down to ground game, which I guess Pimblett wins. Vendramini is only 22 and very inexperienced so I don't think he's figured out what he needs to do to win. I favour Pimblett for a decision win. Not betting on this though. Andrew

@@babayaga-kr9dq Topuria probably to win but the odds are pretty short and there's always the submission threat from Hall. The BJJ vs wrestling thing will be fascinating to watch. Wonderboy probably to win with Burns probably too slow to get the takedown or KO, and the odds are decent enough. Wonderboy will slow down overnight relatively soon though. Perreira to win largely due to being huge for the division. I haven't looked closely at the others (girlfriend is visiting). Best, Andrew

Oh man, I am amazed by that. Really. He threw 2 decent counter right hands. But he got the KO thanks to the elbows defending the takedown against the cage, which is how shit people get the KO. That said, he actually threw hands and showed aggression which we haven't seen before. I guess the kid is improving. I'm shocked because he was SO bad against Buckley.

Ferguson has an outside chance at a submission from bottom, an outside chance of a TKO if Darisuh gets into a firefight with him, or if he can make something happen when Dariush gasses in round 3.

ANALYSIS: This is super difficult. Great stylistic matchup with no key vulnerabilities and no clear path to victory for either man. Oliveira's grappling is amazing but doing BJJ from the bottom is risky, especially against a wrestler like Chandler. On the feet, it could go either way with Oliveira's longer range variety attack vs the explosive 1-2 of Chandler. If Oliveira goes for takedowns, he'll likely fail. If Chandler goes for takedowns, he'll get them but faced getting tangled up in leg locks and heel hooks. Therefore neither fighter should want to take it to the ground. We don't see much value here unless you think Oliveira's UFC experience is the deciding factor and will look fresher in the later rounds. But then, Oliveira hasn't faced elite competition, making it difficult to know what level these guys are at. We're not betting on this.

When you beat Bisping, Hendricks and Belfort, expectations are set and he hasn't quite met them. I think there's only so much you can do when you're facing guys significantly bigger than you. But I expected more from him on the feet against Heinisch. That said he's still young-ish so maybe he'll prove people wrong. Andrew
