Hi, Donnett. I just found your Scrolls and rods and lap and table stands and am in love! ❤ I live in Peru, South America, and we don't have anything as amazing as your products. I'm in awe. I would LOVE a Lap stand and scroll rods and will see if you can ship to my country. I Hope so.!!! Well, take care, Angela.❤ ❤❤

Can you convert the webbing rods to the tape? I have older rods that i have had forever.
@embroidery.comcrossstitchh32972 ай бұрын
You can indeed! Just use a stapple remover to get rid of the staples in the webbing and then purchase our tape for rods and stick it to the scroll rods. It can be purchased here www.embroidery.com/3-yards-tape-for-rods?efid=405

Hello, Thank you for this wonderful tutorial. I've been watching a couple of your other videos. I just bought a new scroll, Edmunds scroll. It has a split bar where you slide the material in. Would I still need ezzy tape to tighten? ALSO, MY PROJECT IS ON A STAMPED CROSS STITCHING AIDA MATERIAL. THEY ALWAYS LEAVE ABOUT A 2 1/2 IN BORDER. DO I NEED TO ADD MORE MATERIAL TO THE BORDER? IF I DO WHAT KIND OF MATERIAL DO I NEED FOR THE ADD ON? Thank you again. I know these are a lot of questions, but using a scroll is new to me. Was using a qsnap before. Erma ❤ California

I just love all your videos. I'll be getting my new lap scroll next week. I new nothing about ezy tape. I'm practicing stitching 2 hand. It's awkward. Not giving up trying it. Thank you for explaining everything I need to know. Your voice, speech is so clear. Thank you again. Erma California ❤

I just purchased a lap top scroll not realizing i have to sew two hand. Im so use to turning my qsnap back and forth to check for tangles. I'm worried i won't be able ti train my keft arm to even find the aida hole. Plus mot thimking i have a bent left broken arm, but still able to cross stitch. This will be interesting 😅😮 Thank you very much for this clear informative video. Looking forward to the challenge. Erma California

OMG I cannot tell you how mad this video made me. Not at you. But at myself. I have been cross stitching for just over 30 years. This week I got myself a floor stand. Only to stumble across this video. How did it never occur to me to stitch 2 handed like you did with the smaller scrolls? All that time I could have been stitching so much faster!! I have always used my left hand to hold my project. Now it can be stitching as well. I am grateful to have found this video. You have a delightful voice to listen to and you explain things very well. I am a bit jealous that your husband is so inventive. Thank you for share this video with us. I DEFINATELY APPRECIATE IT!!

Thank you for sharing this. I first learned Hardanger before the internet when books from both Janice Love and Emile Bishop were my bible for learning this wonderful artform. I have never had the chance to meet Emie - Thanks!!!

Maybe for the challenges, it could be a small cross stitch pattern like a patch. They could be given out as a pdf

The Christmas in My Heart ornament series were the very first Hardanger I ever did. I was living in Germany, in a small village. My military husband had to leave soon after we found a place to live, military housing was not available. Hubby left, chicken pox arrived for all 4 of my children, ages 6 months, 2 years, 6 yrs & 8 yrs. A pen pal in Pennsylvania, gifted one of the Christmas in My Heart ornaments & the card with the pattern. I was mesmerized! I started seeing beautiful hardanger embroidered pieces everywhere! There was no one to teach me, I taught myself with the limited instruction provided on the card pattern. Since then, I have made the first 8 of the ornaments, working on #9!

I love Emie Bishops designs so much. Everyone retires eventually. I was a bit sad when Emie stopped designing so much. I have met her a couple times; she is such a calm & kind person. *sigh*

Aroma therapy works great for anxiety. You will have to try a few to find out what blend helps you. Also my grand sons therapist should him how to stand and place hands flat on the wall and apply light pressure, it’s like placing a little weight on your shoulders.
