Corrections: @6:31, S=170.153mm. But we can still round down to 150mm. @18:41, In checking for the cross section. The formula on the left, the formula ((TuPh)/(1.7Aoh^2)) must also be squared. meaning, it must be ((TuPh)/(1.7Aoh^2))^2... Thus, instead of 1.933, the answer for the equation on the left must be 2.583. But it is still adequate. The rest of the solution is correct. The final answer is also correct if 150mm spacing for shear reinforcement is used. =) **This video will be updated to avoid confusion** :)

Hello! Yes, hindi naisama yung vertical effect dito sa vid lec. And yung sa drift combo, honest mistake. 😅 Na-laktawan. Supposedly either 1.2DL+0.5LL+EL or 0.9DL+EL yung sanang iconsider for modern design (yung load combo under LRFD dapat). hehe. Thank you for your comment! Highly appreciated. Hindi ko man na-pansin code mistake ko from years ago if not for your comment.❤

Good evening! If exactly na yung steel ratio dapat yung basis, then yes. However, since nag round-up tayo ng 400x400 for the gross section, it will be better for us to compute for the theoretically accurate area of steel. para mas economic. And besides, guide lang naman yung "Aim for gross steel area ratio of approximately 3%" para makakuha tayo ng trial section. Hindi siya total requirement na yun daw dapat ang steel ratio niya. :) If gamitin kasi natin yung 3% ratio dun sa 400x400, overdesigned na siya. :)

@Smile-et3fe pag sinabing tension controlled dapat, 3/8. Pero if walang sinabi, ang default by the code is 3/7 na yung max. 😊

@shankylezapanta1464 nasa provision na kapag yung value ng steel ratio ng tension steel is less than rhomax, pwede mo siya ianalyze using SRB. Hindi magkakalayo yung sagot if icocompare mo sa DRB analysis. Almost equal sila. 😊 If gusto mo accurate result: solve mo using DRB Pero inaallow naman ng international code na gumamit ng SRB analysis if pasok siya sa criteria. Halos same din lang sagot 😊

The reference table used in the video from came from a western book and apparently not entirely conforming with NSCP 2015.(as I just saw, sa groove weld ginamit ni NSCP yung 0.6Fexx. Iba dun sa book screenshot) I will try to cross examine the ref table with NSCP 2015 and will be discussing it with Structural Engineering professors on what transpired bakit magkaiba sila. Apologies for the confusion! I will keep you posted. P.S. Gagawa po ako ng bagong video na specific po for latest code ng NSCP.
