I haven't prayed in almost a year because I felt disconnected from how I used to pray and who I was praying to. stopped praying because I couldn't undo how I was taught to pray as a child. but after watching your video I got my praying groove back. I stopped reciting and started communicating with God and the Universe for the first time in my life without including IJN at the end( who I no longer believe in). This video has connected me back to my spirituality

God answered prayers even if you don't believe. Probably even more often then believers.

I like praying to Mother Nature, i usually call her Gaia, and as a pantheist i also pray to different deities and natural things like rocks, trees, waterfalls, mountains, fire etc. Everything for me is part of the Divine and i see deities as representations of concepts, feelings, and aspects of nature that were created by humans to act as points onto which you focus your intentions. I believe anyone can pray to anyone/anything as everything is Divine so whoever is reading this, remember you have the freedom to choose what or whom you worship or even if you worship at all. Be yourself and love yourself! ❤

Nah I dont like that. Everyone can pray to whoever or whatever they want. I prefer praying to Mother Nature or pagan deities because im a pantheist, meaning that the universe is Divine so I think you can pray to anything/anyone. You can pray to Jesus, someone can pray to Thor etc and we have the freedom to choose because everything is One and all the deities are just different personifications of the Sacred

After praying for 21 or so years, I’m looking for advice on how to pray. I’m learning again how to do it in the way that feels the most authentic and genuine and true to me. This gave me chills and tears in my eyes- it’s been a minute since I had a really intentional real prayer you know which kind I’m talking about. Thank you 💟💟

The connection of prayer. prayer is great but the prayer of the sinful is an abomination. This means that bad motives or back stories to praying to God will not bring answers but becomes a curse for the person. Any child who asks their dad or mother for something but do not care about their parents and shame them and do not have a bond in the parental relationship, is asking for trouble from their parents. They are making relationships worse because good prayer is good intentions. powerful prayers are based on submission and loyalty to God in Christ. Alone.

Loved this video! I just came across your channel after googling “how to pray when you’re not Catholic anymore” lol. Your video on how to pray was great (and funny). I think creating an alter is going to help me through that journey. I already have items I want but they’re scattered around (sound bowl, sage, crystals, books). And I SO want to try reading poetry! I think you are great, I look forward to more videos! ☺️

Thank you so much for this video! I was just visiting my sister in law and she showed me her alter. When I came home I started having this feeling like I needed something similar in my home. Hers is more like a cabinet. But I like the lower height of yours and really connected to what you said about this becoming a place to help you reconnect when you start feeling “off” in your day. Also you have such a great personality that really shines through this video! 💖

Prostrating? Wait, are you talking about christians who prostrate in their prayers? Or, some people from outer religions? Tho, if we want to give somebody a gift, do we give that person something we want? Or, do we give that person something that person want? Cause, probably something we wanted could be actually something that person hated. So, do we care about of how The Creator wants us to pray? Or even, do we care about of how the Creator wants us to call/refer "Him"?
