I've seen Omar at the Saxon Pub in Austin quite a few times over the years. I miss him (no, he's not dead but can't play anymore due to some disease).

STILL One of the greatest bands ever produced by the greatest city for bands in the United States… I only wish that there were more of the music on vinyl, that they had done some more Studio work! And also I wish (ah !!! how I wish!!!) Hire Fidelity video recordings existed somewhere in that field of historical documentation of that lost era of Austin’s greatness

I remember dancing to their music in Austin, Texas, in about 1978 or 79, jumping up and down to the music… That’s the way we danced to it😆

If you walked into the Restless Wind in San Marcos, (the joint is still there, but it called something else now), you totally would've had a old Blevins experience.

I was an EMT Paramedic in the late 90's. When you work a fatality accident, there's not a lot a responder can do. I would often think about the victims and their family. How we all have goals, aspirations, making plans skipping merrily along a life I hope was well lived. How we have family, spouse, children, friends. Then in an instant
