An absolutely perfect example of a post-Christian, neo-pagan, circus idea of a procession to massage the narcissistic egos of the groom and his mostly male entourage and entertain the guests (who should, frankly, be horrified, but aren't in the least)..... thank God, it is probably a Lutheran Church, so there isn't an actual consecrated altar or a Real Presence of Jesus Christ in a Host that was defiled by this display of inappropriate for the venue excessive excess......marriage is a solemn serious act binding two people together before God for life....... not a somersault romp down the aisle................. save the entertainment for the celebratory reception.
