Clark is the only WNBA athlete in the history of the league to set or break 62 records in one season. Most would be proud of that for a career accomlishment, let alone for just a first season. Yet Swoops and Aja can't except that reality. They claim it's white privilege. I watched her be beat up on the court game after game while you brushed it off as normal. Says a lot about you. Funny thing about that Aja why doesn't it happen to you? They noticeably never mention Lisa Lobo, Elena Della Donne, Nancy Lieberman, or Lauren Jackson just to name a few that Swoops or Aja never mention. The league has been blessed with a host of talented players of all colors to bad you don't acknowledge that for them. Aja literally said to Kelsey Plum that she had White privilege. Talent comes in all colors and all of us face life challenges they don't get to skip those because of color. Color isnt what denotes talent and it has never scored a touch down or made a goal or a basket, that was talent that accomplished that and talent isn't defined by race. Another shocking truth. Aja I know that's a shocking concept for you, but the truth is painful. Last I checked you had a silver spoon upbringing Aja that gave you privilege that many never have. You used that advantage and it got you the best schools, education, and coaches. Why didn't you refuse those opportunities you expect other to feel shame because their parents made good choices and worked hard.

We need to address the White Privilege (WP) issue. First if this is a WP issue then why are there more blacks in the WNBA than whites? So getting into WNBA is not a white WP issue. Second, if there is a WP issue in pay, why aren't ALL white player or a majority paid more than black players? So not WP there. Third, why haven't some white players generated viewership close to Clark's or ticket sales like Clark's There are a list of great white players that made no real dent... So again WP is not the issue. Fourth, there are lot of white women playing in college basketball. Why weren't they generating big number for all those white viewers.. bigger than experienced? White men and girls weren't flocking until Clark came around. Why hasn't Bueckers generated the number that Clark did? So's where the WP there? Should we have called an elevation of product quality Black Privilege when Jordan came on the scene? No. He just took the product quality up and we got 100 pt games and they are fun to watch. Same with Clark. All people; blacks, whites, asian, brown; like to watch fast, well executed, somewhat risky games. Those long passes or behind the back or tip passes that show a lot of practice and awareness and sense of how the game is going, that waiting for the next "impossible" thing to happen! It's not the current SC/UCON "no mistakes", "slow it down" dreck that dominates the WNBA. The dreck that got Sides fired because she waiting too long to adjust to full court play. The new Fever coach sees what has to be done, play the full court, take risks, and NEVER let the defense set up! 100 pt games are going to be a norm in the WNBA. That's not WP. That's product quality. That's the Iowa coach adjusting to Clark and not trying to wear her down like Geno and Bueckers. That's full court play versus slow everything down with false "physicality". Also I just don't like watching a bunch of players hit each other with impunity. WP is not the issue. It's actual viewership and Clark brought that early in her college years like NO OTHER PLAYER of any color. So stop lying to yourselves and figure out how to play full court!

I have never heard of the LSU player Forbes named to 30 under 30. I have not seen her on any player of the year lists. What Paige, JuJu etc. Some of the people Forbes picks for this list are pretty obscure.

The reason why nobody knew about the WNBA is it wasn't on TV. 25+ years later they put 2 games on TV once a week. You had to pay to watch the games. People are already paying to watch the other sports. How much money do you think we have? You can't even watch the men's Final Four. It's only a matter of time before all sports will be pay per view. Soon you will have to pay to even watch TV.

But what I like most about this video, it acknowledged the WNBA was already on an upward trend BEFORE Clarks arrival. Listening to the new/casual fans, you'd think the WNBA never existed before 2024.

In 2024 Caitlin Clark proved to be one of the best if not the best. In 2025 she won't only be the best, she's going to be a beast. If you're not the hero of your own story, then you have no concept of your own humanity.

In the NBA, you get laughed at if you miss a layup. Even in the WNBA players make 78% of layup attempts. AR makes less than 50% of them. Even a 13 year old makes a higher percentage. Yet people want to compare them.

If she plays in Europe more notice will be taken of her game than of her race.
